Midway's Villa Roma — Restaurant in Town of New Windsor

This is actually known as Midway Market, not "S&B". Midway Market is an established deli that has been there for a long time and is frequented by a lot of the locals in New Windsor. It is more like an old-school general store than just a deli. The prices are slightly higher than convenience stores, but that's part of supporting local business and receiving quality service. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Their food is very good and besides standard deli food, they also have different daily specials of homemade food cooked in a crockpot. They started selling soft-serve ice cream (cones or cups) last year. They recently renovated and now have a salad bar, fountain sodas, more tables and a counter to sit and eat at. They have a large selection of beverages, food, and miscellaneous items. The wait times for food to be made are minimal, but you can also call in advance to place your order (good also for larger orders). You have probably passed this place a ton of times and never noticed it, as it sits off in the tuck and literally looks like a random corner store. Even walking inside, I saw no one and it looked like a big, empty space of a store that hasn't restocked in ages. I had no idea what to expect, as I came to pick up my pizza from here and assumed that Yelp set me up. The pizza here is pricey, even a small two-topping pizza ran me about $20, just as much as a Sicilian large with pepperoni ran me about $23-25, paying almost $45 for both. But, everyone that tried it loved the pizza and admitted it must be worth the price because it's pretty damn good. I recently picked up a Sicilian and it was tasty, I just wish the pizza here had a BIT more sauce and a BIT more cheese. It would've been perfect. All in all, I do like this pizza better than Tosco's and I'll be returning. I'll try to upload some pictures next...

Can't get an order right. Multiple times. Breakfast sanwhiches with sausage bacon egg and cheese SPK? Forget the ketchup. Ordered turkey American cheese LTM on a sub. They add bacon. Today same thing. Wrong turkey not a sub. Beef patties with cheese? No cheese. Paid $14 for a roll of cracked pepper mill turkey and two beef patties. None of which was right. Went back to fix the sanwhich. Got a roll. Thats 3 times I said hero. And got a roll. They clearly don't listen and cannot are an order. Never going there again. Interesting how everything is more expensive but the customer service goes down. This deli isn't the only place like this. I see it more and more...
