Wendy's — Restaurant in Town of New Windsor

The food is normal for a fast food place...usually understaff... So everything takes time.... I've seen a sandwich maker put patties down and drop fries... So I know ppl are missing.... Usually new ppl but everytime someone is new they don't know what they're doing completely... What they should do is have new ppl shadow ppl that been there for a bit... This is basically the closest cheapish place near Cornwall... Beaver dam... New Windsor after 12 am... So the lines are long usually only 2 ppl in drive thru doing orders and making food.... Chicken and meat don't magically appear cooked... So the wait is understandable.... Someone told me once they have to be out by 230...idk but if the place closes at 2 am.... How is everything being clean in 30 mins.. But if they stop serving certain things past a certain time.then it's possible ... Burger king shuts down there ice cream machine around 10 and they close at 12....so it makes since that they shut they're frosty machines earlier than 2 am.... Even a 24 hour McDonald's shuts there machines after a certain time.... It gets so busy sometimes that they run out of certain things like nuggets... Sorry but if you run out of nuggets then your nuggets are popping...... The service is good as it could be... If your nice then they are nice... I come here alot... So I get treated pretty good.... It's best to come when it ain't to busy the employees are less stress an...

I work in the neighborhood, so I've been going to this Wendy's for almost two decades now. At first it was pretty good. Then the service gradually started going downhill, although it's been up and down over the years. It's rare that they're very friendly though.

The prices have skyrocketed over the past few years while the quality of the food has gone downhill. I've had enough decent experiences to keep me coming back now and then for a quick meal, but I order from them a lot less often than I used to.

I've had a lot of issues at this location over the last few years, including:

-finding a medium sized live bug crawling around in my salad -waiting almost a half hour to place and receive a to-go order -receiving a frosty the other day that wasn't even close to full. -many times receiving a cold junior cheeseburger deluxe that seemed like it was just pulled out of a refrigerator.

I no longer order most of my formerly favorite items on the menu, including the junior cheeseburger deluxe (always cold), any salad (the bug incident), or chicken nuggets (the price gradually went from a quarter to almost a dollar per chicken nugget over the past ten years or so).

I have seen this Wendys location, as well as the company in general, really go downhill over the years. I think my biggest issue is the huge increase in price combined with a decrease in the quality...

By far the slowest and worst Wendy's I've been to. They make everyone pull forward to keep their window times down. There was already a car pulled up waiting, so I had to go around them to wait in front of them. Their staff is constantly using expletives directly in front of customers, non-stop expletive gossip. When the employee finally brought my food up to my car, (which was only a burger and nuggets), he didn't say a word, just held his hand out with my food from behind my window, so I had to reach out behind the window opening to actually retrieve my food, and didn't even say a word. They didn't give me any BBQ sauce, (I had asked for one extra, I got none) Both my burger and nuggets were cold, which if I had to wait for my food, why would it be cold? This was 2:40pm 7/7/22. They need a whole staff overhaul here, or at least cut the cursing and be attentive to their customers and provide the quick, quality service we expect...
