Do not order from here. I used their online ordering system which says they deliver in a 6-mile radius. The website let me complete the transaction and charged me in full. I got an email saying that the order was rejected but didn't say why or whether I would be refunded. I called the restaurant and the woman working there said that the order was rejected because my address is “too far away”. I looked it up and the restaurant is only 4 miles from my apartment. When I said that, she stuttered and just kept saying it was too far. She said they only deliver in the town of Newburgh and not the city. I expressed that that is messed up because the website doesn’t mention anything about specific neighborhoods and only a six-mile radius, which I fit into. I went on to explain that it’s not cool that the website let me place my order and charged me if they were never going to accept my order. So now I have to wait multiple days for a refund when they could’ve saved me the trouble by just posting a notice on their website or rejecting my order before it went through. The woman I spoke to was apologetic but also disinterested in hearing what I had to say. She just kept repeating the same lie of me being too far away and then said she doesn’t make the rules and didn’t offer to make up for their mistake in any way. When I called they said the driver was on his way took another twenty minutes for them to arrive. Food was cold looked like they heated up leftovers. Called to complain. They answered the phone and were rude. Put me on hold a guy got on the phone and when I told him I was Upset with the food and needed to be compensated he began cursing and yelling. Told me there was nothing he could do. And hung up the phone. I called back and the lady put me on hold. Got back on the phone and told me I needed to wait for the driver to come back and put me on hold. The driver gets on the phone and told me he had other deliveries and had to drive slow I told Him I want my money back the other man got on the phone and told me there was nothing he could do. Hung up. I called back the lady told me they were busy she would take a message. I told her she needed to put them on the phone. He got back on the phone and told me he can’t help how long it took. I told him I was bringing his food back. He said he was closing. I told him make sure he stayed open because I want my money back. We arrived with the food he looked at it and said oh wow that’s the drivers fault. He went back and forth but then finally gave me the money back. Don’t order from them ever. Read moreThis is the third time I’ve ordered and received attitude from the front girl answering the phones. I know how crazy it gets I worked in the pizzeria industry so I get it but I never snapped or answered people rudely. This particular time that I order I heard them actually ask if my order was “enough” to deliver than when I needed to give a credit card another gasp. I was told 35-40 minutes at 5:10. I honestly understood their frustration so I wasn’t bothered immediately. But when I called to check to see if they had left I got attitude from the front girl telling me were really busy so he should be there soon. Which in content sounds nice but it wasn’t I hung up on her. Than I got a knock and it was my food and they had no credit card receipt! Just the order paper! I’m Like ummm how do I know what I will be charged so I can give an appropriate tip? So I had to call while this poor driver stood in the cold and told the amount over the phone and had to hand write the total plus tip and sign a random paper and hope they don’t change it.
