Wongs used to be great as a buffet! My family has honestly spend thousands at their restaurant. But ever since they went to-go only it's over priced. I still love their food a decide to splurge when we can but yesterday I went a got only a quart of butter potatoes. Keep in mind they have a sign right next to where you cash out that says butter potatoes 7.75 +tax. Anyway a lady cashed me out and I received my card and receipt back that said 9.41. I said to the woman that I didn't think that price was right and she continues to tell me that it's 8$and change for the potatoes plus tax. I pointed out the sign and she rolled her eyes types on the register and hands me back 2 quarters. I didn't check her math because their was a guest behind me and I don't drive to make the family look bad! I went to school with almost all thier children. I just called to complain about my experience and the gentleman says I'm not the manager and hangs up... I should have received 1.04 back. Not being stingy but they have a calculator right in front of them. Lady just pushed buttons and decided 50¢ back is good enough for a loyal customer.. well unless they reopen to buffet...
Read moreAt first I had a good experience with the food, I don’t eat meat and a few times after they started to make mistakes, when I ordered plain fried rice (no pork) after getting home there was pork, Another time I ordered veggie egg rolls and got regular egg rolls with pork, ugh it was getting really tiring, the last time I went I took my kids this time to dine in and hair was on my food it was disgusting, poor service and uncaring with the preparations of the food. Would’ve gave them 5 stars, they are not consistent with they’re orders and I’m from NYC so I know !! Do better for the community not just for money !! I’m sure not going back there again, supporting a restaurant of food they don’t even eat themselves. Spend so much on that restaurants at times I felt I was over charged … watch and inspect your food. Not very pleasant one day the Wife is nice the next she don’t know you and has an...
Read moreWe found this when driving through the area and decided to stop for a dinner break. It wasn’t far off the highway and was located in a cute, quaint area that had easy parking and an area to walk our dog for a few minutes. We placed the order from the car and the food was ready in about 10 mins.
The owner cashed me out and she was friendly and sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed so we could take our order and eat it on the road. We ordered pork fried rice, chicken lo mein and an egg roll. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The entrees were huge and loaded with meat. To top it off it was super affordable, the total was only $20 and we had leftovers to boot.
There is a lunch and dinner buffet on the weekends, I’m sure it’s delicious! Just make sure to bring cash if you order is...
