I was in town on business and just looking up coffee shops to get a good cup. I went here in the morning, and to my pleasant surprise, it was a Korean-based coffee shop. I spent 3 months living in Seoul, so this was a pretty great delight for me to stumble upon.
For those that do not, coffee is VERY big in Korea, and it's taken VERY seriously to a gourmet level even. I can thankfully say that Cafe Blessing absolutely delivers on the same passion and craft skill for making as best a cup as you can be presented.
For coffee, I ordered a Sweet Cream Latte (one hot, one iced) and both were delicious, smooth, and a strong yet light cup. I travel often and have coffee all over the Northeast, and this may very well be one of my new favorites to get coffee.
For food, I got quite a few items....
Egg & Cheese Croissant - Simple & Delicious. The croissant itself is pretty great, even if you're a croissant efficionado (8/10)
Chia Seed Parfait - I don't know what the golden sauce at the bottom is, but when mixed together with the fruits, grains, yogurt, and chia seeds, this is BEYOND delicious. I would even dare to eat these all day. I make parfaits often on my own, and I don't know where this place sources their produce, but this felt EXTREMELY clean and HEALTHY. I'm talking the next tier up from your typical healthy foods in America. What I meant by that, is you can often get healthy stuff in America, but it never FEELS truly healthy in the ways that it does when eating it overseas. Cafe Blessing manages to capture that overseas feeling though!
Red Bean + Salted Butter Steamed Bun - The second I saw the Steamed Bun machine, all my memories of Seoul flooded my mind and it made me smile. I instantly knew I needed to have one. It was warm, fluffy, and super light in dough. Biting into it, you got the Red Bean paste and it was so delicious. I had expected, from the name, that it would be a nice savory treat to go with my coffee, but had forgotten that these are actually VERY sweet. Almost like a jelly sweet. It did not ruin the steamed bun at all, but I wanted to state the fact here so some people going to get them may not make the same mistake.
All in all, this is a fabulous coffee shop with excellent coffee, great food, and fantastic employees. Highly recommend going here if you're in the area!

Read moreAs an AST (Authorized Specialty Coffee Association Trainer), I’ve had the privilege of experiencing countless cafés around the world—but this café stands out in a truly special way. From the moment you step inside, there’s a certain lightness that fills the space—not just in the atmosphere, but in the quality of what they serve and the warmth of the people behind the counter.
One of the first things that drew me in was their coffee. They roast their own beans in-house, and I can immediately tell the difference. The freshness is undeniable. Every sip carries the true aroma and depth of well-roasted beans—carefully selected, precisely handled, and brewed to highlight the best flavors. For someone who lives and breathes coffee, this kind of quality is a joy to experience.
What keeps me coming back again and again, though, is the owner. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine hospitality create an atmosphere that feels like home. She always greets me with a warm smile and often surprises me with a special drink or dish to try—just out of her thoughtfulness. Her welcoming presence brightens my day and reflects the soul of the café.
The food here is just as impressive. Everything is prepared fresh daily. Nothing feels leftover or re-served. There’s a purity and integrity in how they approach their food, and I deeply appreciate that.
And if you’re looking for something unique, this place shines with its special menu items—like the blueberry latte and the chaga latte. These aren’t just trendy drinks—they’re crafted with care and creativity, and they taste as good as they sound.
This café isn’t just a place to grab coffee—it’s a place to be refreshed, to be welcomed, and to experience coffee and food made with heart. Highly,...
Read moreVery very talented and skilled baristas. Potentially my favourite cafe of all time.
Cafe Blessing uses specialty Indonesian origin beans for their espresso. They also roast their beans weekly in-house, making the espresso very flavourful and fresh. The delicate and complex earthy notes of Indonesian origin beans is highlighted well by both their roasting method and barista craftsmanship. I rarely see independent cafes use Indonesian beans for espresso, and am so used to the taste of LatAm/African origin beans (which are good! but are often too fruity, citrusy or acidic for me).
I am pleasantly surprised also to see a cafe run by two (first generation?) Korean women. Whenever I walk in, they are very friendly and knowledgable about their coffee. When I asked why they use Indonesian beans (it puzzled me how it was economically sustainable due to the import prices), they said it is their customers favourite origin). That shows me they are responsive to their customers, and care deeply about the quality of their craft.
These women are my mother’s age, and remind me of her. It is so rare to see first generation Asian women openly show passion, skill, and pride in their craft. These women are not just managers, and not only baristas skilled at crafting drinks, but women who are knowledgable about their coffee and take pride in their work.
I wish the best of luck to Cafe Blessing’s success, and hope they continue with their quality of service and product.
Drinks I’ve tried here: oatmilk Dirty matcha, oatmilk flat white (very delicious), and some of their iced tea. All I highly recommend and each product I savoured greatly.
I also like their lemon poppy muffin :-) it’s not too...
