Duchess Cookies — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Cute interior. There's a back drop where you can take pics in front of. I had some cookies (Churro, Banana milk choco chip, and S'mores) and a Mexican hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delicious. The cookies had a nice crunch which was super nice because I love that chewy texture. I didn't enjoy the s'mores as much because the marshmallow tasted funny. The other two were better. The banana milk choco chip didn't have much of a banana flavor as I was expecting. The churro is stuffed with dulce de leche, yumm, and was my favorite. Will have to come by again to try other...

I never write reviews but I’ve gone into Duchess a couple times now and felt I must. Aside from the fact that the cookies are delicious - Jen, the owner, is SO nice. She very clearly cares about what she does and wants to make customers happy. Which again, is not hard because the food is delish and so are the drinks. Saw Duchess on Food Network and social media first so was super happy when it came to Manhasset. Of course the cookies are the draw but we tried this kind of ice-cream/ cereal/ toppings concoction that's like a DairyQueen Blizzard or a "concrete" like you'd get at Shake Shack, but really even better.
