Iâm very disappointed to be writing this ⊠I have driven by many times and was hopefully for quality food and service. This was however, far from what I received. First off - Iâm certain I was over charged, but with the language barrier there was no easy way to communicate this. The order was 9 tacos, 2 fries, 2 sodas, churro and cheese dip. This somehow totaled out to $72.
After adding it up and questioning, the lady at the counter became very upset and speaking quickly in Spanish ⊠which I clearly didnât understand.
Unable to come to an agreement, I paid the bill and moved on.
The issues were not few ..
The food was luke-warm and looked pretty sad, small portions of meat and cheese for such expensive tacos. The tacos were bland and honestly the salsa didnât help. Not too mention they messed up half the order by putting onions on, which was specifically requested to be removed. So those tacos werenât even eaten.
Had we not waited over 45 minutes. Maybe it wouldnât be such a big deal, but to way over pay for poor quality food and poor service ⊠is a losing combination.
I could have gone into Waukesha and back to taco Jalisco in less time and had a high quality meal.

Read moreMarisol's is incredible! Tacos are absolutely out of this world! Carne asada, pollo, are carnitas are all good. I have not had their other food but I look forward to trying it one day because I will be back again and again in the future. My, now, wife and I had Marisol's cater tacos for our wedding and it was just perfect. Communication leading up to our wedding was good. They really cared about our event it was clear that they wanted everything to be just perfect for us. They were professional, prompt, and, most importantly, the food was amazing. It was literally just as good as when we stopped there a few days earlier and got it fresh off the truck. So many of our wedding guests raved about the food claiming it's the best wedding food they've had. We agreed with them wholeheartedly. Of all the different taco places I've been too, Marisol's is not just my favorite but the most authentic place I've been to. Do yourself a favor and stop by their truck for a meal and if you ever need tacos catered for an event, I would recommend them without any reservations what so ever. Photos...
Read moreMenu on the truck has no prices so it's unclear, Chile rellenos came out totally different, totally confusing because if you don't speak Spanish there is no way to know it's only a breakfast item. My impression is it's a purposely confusing ordering experience aimed at causing you to accept whatever you are served and arguing will do you no good as the entire truck descends into confusion and odd looks making you want to leave with whatever was given to you. This business has changed from what...
