I was so impressed with Gyro Downtown. First off, they have a great menu that makes ordering easy because there are pictures for every single dish.

The best part? The food that comes out looks exactly like the photos—picture perfect!

The food itself was fantastic. I had the gyro wrap and my fiancé got the falafel dish, and both were delicious.

What really made our visit special was the exceptional service. Our server, Ali, was incredibly professional and nice. His communication skills were top-notch, and we noticed he speaks multiple languages, which was very impressive. He even surprised us with a dessert on the house, which was such a kind gesture.

We were also really happy with the prices. It hits the perfect price point, especially for the area. It's an amazing value for the quality you get.

Absolutely the best Chicken Gyro I’ve had in New York so far! The chicken is incredibly juicy and tender — you can tell it’s marinated with care, giving the meat a truly special flavor. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering how generous the portions are in their bowls.

This was my second visit, and I actually live in Nyack — but I happily make the trip all the way to Piedmont just to eat here because I know it’s always worth it. Every time, they include a piece of lavash-style bread with your lunch, which makes the experience feel even more like a proper kebab meal.

As a local, I have exhausted all the take out options of this town and I agree with other reviewers that this town really needed this kind of place.
