Yama Fuji Sushi — Restaurant in Town of Ossining

I would like to start by saying that I don’t typically take the time to make complaints like this and I used to be in the industry so I give the benefit of the doubt, but everything about this experience was negative.... My husband and I went in around 7pm on a Friday night and it was empty and freezing cold; we didn’t even take our jackets off. While we never even received waters, the server took a long time with menus and then hurried us to place an order quickly after receiving the menu. The wine also tasted off. I ordered a classic shrimp tempura roll and a lobster and shrimp roll served tempura style. It was not crunchy as you would expect.... it was definitely not cooked properly and 4 hours later I got food poisoning and was sick for 2 hours. I only make this complaint so that others do not suffer! Proceed...

My family and I went to eat at this restaurant. I will not recommend it to anyone. The food was average however the service was horrible we were approached by the waiter while eating and told to hurry up and leave because they're closing lunch. 1 minuets later he comes back again and stares at my 85 year old grandmother rudely and asks if she is done. Finally he comes a 3rd time and very rudely says that the restaurant is closed and that there is nothing he can get us from the kitchen and let's just say his face...

I couldn't make it to my favorite sushi place so I decided to try this place in Ossining. Never again , we never had a good service , that lady that took the order just want to get ride of us asap, the soup was horrible , shrimp was not fresh . And the rolls were ok and for that reason I'm giving them two stars . We were starving , I have never complained of paying my bill but this time I was not happy about it . I hope they improve service and the freshness...
