The restaurant's reply? Just as rude as their service. And they were not that busy. FUNNY how my name is nowhere on here, yet you knew exactly who I was in your video? My back faced your camera the entire time. Our check, in my husband's name. There were 2 tables taken, then ours. It only got busy after we received our food. Our server replaced my coffee because i asked her to. She still charged me for the full cup of coffee. With mystery sauce. Your server came to our table because its her job. You should tell her, its also part of her job to be friendly. We left a zero dollar tip on purpose. She got what she earned. We don't owe your establishment anything. And FYI, if you're so sensitive about hearing an honest opinion about your terrible food and lack of service, DO BETTER. See below.
Ordered coffee and a 16" pizza that claimed to be Brooklyn style. Nope. The most bland pizza I have ever tasted in my 44 years of life. A grease trap, not a pizza. The coffee was terrible too, but mostly because the sugar packets were soaked in some sort of mystery sauce. I don't even want to keep thinking about it. As for the staff, our waitress spent more time on her makeup than on making sure her tables were taken care of. Not friendly service at all. I don't recommend anyone waste their time here, ESPECIALLY if your taste buds are...
Read moreGiving one star for health and safety standards. The servers, cashiers, and the COOKS were all maskless within the restaurant and in the kitchen. We were blatantly lied to, the cook said the health department did not require them to wear masks, even in the kitchen. This goes against current health standards and legal restrictions. I paid 50 dollars for food that I don't believe is safe to eat, and they would not contact their manager for an opportunity to refund my order.
Edit: this was posted prior to eventually being able to contact the owner/manager who was able to provide a refund, after we had already begun the ride home and made alternative plans for an edible dinner. However, the rest of this review remains true. I could not claim to know every employee, but certainly most staff were not wearing masks; and most importantly not one cook was wearing a mask while preparing food! I have a phone conversation saved in which the owner/manager defends the decision to allow maskless employees, I am happy to include the audio in my report to the department of health. If it was a mistake with my order, I wouldn't have cared; but this a major health concern and people deserve to know if they risk exposing themselves to a...
Read moreThis was our first time at this restaurant and we had been driving through town on a road trip. We just wanted a quick dinner and to get back on the road. Street parking was non existent and we had to park about a block away in pouring rain. Once inside we had to ask to be seated as the staff were all too busy to seat us. Even at that the table was dirty so we waited for a server to was it off. It took about 15 minutes for a waitress to come over. About 15 minutes later we got drinks but no menu's yet! After ordering we got our food about 30 minutes later. Although the service was horrible (the kind of waitress that quickly puts your dish on the table and rushes away immediately without asking if you need anything else). We had to flag her down just to get butter. The food was hot and servings huge. Their meat sauce and meatballs were very good and tastefully homemade as opposed to frozen. The apple pie was very good and had lots of filling. Price was competitive with similar restaurants. If you are in any kind of a hurry or looking for excellent non-frustrating service, this is not the...
