The incident that changed my mind about this place was - one day I went in to place an order chat, guess what I saw? a LIVE COCKROACH crawling on the cashier counter!!!!! I was shocked , so this lady who works there calls the guy (I think he is the owner, maybe, who was serving sweets to another customer) and this guy simply takes a napkin and smashes this cockroach right on the counter in front of me and throws it down, doesn't even washes his hands. The best part - he said " OH THESE COCKROACHES ARE NOW COMING ON THE FRONT COUNTER"!!!!! so this means they have lot of cockroaches in their kitchen. Their stuffed paratha selection is unbeatable by any other establishment in Long Island. The usual plain paratha and aloo (potato) paratha are staple fare. I personally like their spicy variations - palak pudina (spinach and mint) and papad. You can also go custom and create one with your preferred fillings.
Their bhatoras have been the favorite for our kids for the last many years.
We loved their lunch buffet, but like all buffets they are on hold in the post coronavirus age.
For people with a sweet tooth, we love their mini rasgullas (white and black, or white and pink), malai sandwich, motibagh, and several others.
