Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I was overcharged just because I asked for extra chocolate crunchies. I went on a Wednesday for buy one get one free. My husband and I ordered soft serve ice cream and I asked for extra chocolate crunchies as a topping. Also, I purchased a cup of chocolate crunchies. When I went to pay I was told it was $15.09. The large cup of ice cream was a little over $8.00. I asked how much was it for the cup of chocolate crunchies and was told it was $4.99. There was no sticker price on the cup. I explained that I only pay $4.75 at the Copiague location. The person serving me claimed that she gave me $3.00 worth of extra crunchies on my ice cream. I wasn’t offered a receipt. Very disappointed in being overcharged. Please be aware of pricing when you go in so you are not charged whatever the server feels like charging. Unfair...

If I could give the ice cream five stars and the employees one, I would. There is a young lady that works in there that has the nastiest face on every time she asks you for your order. She will never put whipped cream on anything and if you ask for it she rolls her eyes with disgust. I can’t imagine how the owners of this Carvel would allow somebody so sour to run their customer service. It is horrible and I will never be going back here. I’ve given them many chances but the girl that works there is horrible. The ice cream is definitely a plus but the she always messes up the orders and pushes you out the door . Service in this place is summed up with one word, RUDE. Walked in to make a purchase for my family and we were greeted with the nastiest look by the employee behind the counter, as if we had annoyed her with our presence. Was clearly bothered by our order of shakes, which is on the menu, so nothing out of the ordinary. Drops my wife’s shake because we dared to ask for whipped cream.
