So last night my wife and I were cruising around looking for a new place for dinner. We were tired of going to the same places. Do you want Italian? No... Do you want Mexican? No... Chinese? Steak? Diner? As we were about to turn home I said "Let's try that place... It's French!" So we pulled into the parking lot around 730ish. We walk in and were greeted by the host, who also was our waiter. He asked if we were ever there before and we said we had not been. He sat us in a nice corner with really comfortable chairs near the fireplace. He gave us our menus and gave us a quick French lesson on the days of the week so we knew what day it was for the specials. The menu size is perfect for my wife as there isn't a million things to order from and under each item it tells you exactly what is in the dish. I ordered a glass of Syrah and my wife ordered a lemonade. The lemonade tasted like my grandmother sat in the back and squeezed the lemons just perfectly to make this drink. We mulled over what to order for quite sometime plus on Friday is DJ night so we were kind of dancing in our seats a bit. We ordered the muscles with the white wine cram sauce as an appetizer to split, and for dinner she ordered a chicken sandwich with Brie, arugula, & apple and shoestring French fries. I ordered the black truffle papperdelle in a cream sauce topped with really big shrimp. The food was amazing and really large portions. We wound up taking a lot of it home because we were eating so much of the muscles sauce with bread we were full! The ambiance is really nice. The tables are far enough from each other so you're not listening to other people's conversations. I didn't really explore the entire facility but there was a really big bar right behind where we were sitting. I didn't know what to expect going in and thought there would be a man walking around playing the accordion. Overall it was a great experience and wasn't overly expensive. The wait staff was very attentive, answered all of our questions, and made us feel...

Read moreMy fiancé and I got engaged in Paris, so we wanted to celebrate our civil wedding with a special lunch with our families at one of our favorite French restaurants. Having dined at Brasserie by Chef Aless several times, we knew it was the perfect place for this occasion. From the start, Chef Aless was incredibly kind and accommodating, working closely with us to create a custom menu that fit our budget. She was responsive throughout the planning process, ensuring every detail was just right. When we arrived, we were blown away by how beautifully the table was set, complete with fresh flowers. The staff even went above and beyond by setting up a separate table for the kids with coloring books and crayons—something we never requested but truly appreciated. As our family was welcomed with glasses of champagne, we knew we were in for a memorable afternoon. The lunch itself was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish arrived piping hot, perfectly plated, and absolutely delicious. Many of our guests had never been to Brasserie before, and they were beyond impressed. We also brought additional cakes and desserts, and the staff graciously set up another table to display them beautifully. I cannot recommend Brasserie by Chef Aless enough.
