I celebrated my birthday at Two25 last night with my family, and we had an absolute blast! Our server, Nero, was phenomenal—super friendly and incredibly attentive. We started with appetizers: the Margherita pizza (insanely delicious), arancini, and fried calamari. For the main course, we had the lasagna, which was so fresh it took me straight back to my trip to Sardinia, Italy. The chicken Milanese with arugula salad was cooked to perfection, and the bronzino with potatoes was simply to die for. We paired everything with a perfect Chianti red wine. To top it all off, we indulged in desserts: gelato, chocolate soufflé, cappuccinos, and limoncellos. Highly recommend Two25 for a fantastic dining experience!

Starting with the positive: the pasta wash fresh and tasty, and the ragout of my bolognese was right up there. They have a decent brunch menu with a combination of eggs, pastas, and main dishes. On the flip side, the vibe of the place is a little odd — perhaps trying too hard to be fancy? Perhaps it was the fact that it was mostly empty on a Sunday early afternoon? Perhaps it was the cranberry juice that was off (like, clearly off) and we had to send back? Not sure, but for whatever reason we didn’t love the atmosphere. Service was fine though nothing to write home about.

Honestly I’m a little annoyed. I’ve been here many times and always usually delicious (one time we had to send back the clam sauce). This time we went on a Thursday and it was an utter fail. The clam pie was inedible. It was basically burnt breadcrumbs on bread. And the burger? How are you charging almost 30 dollars for frozen fries and a burger on a potato bun that I could make better in my backyard. Also they never gave us clean plates or even cleaned the table. Something is up with this place

Always a great experience! I first discovered Two25 when it opened a few years ago and have been coming back consistently ever since! As many know, there was a beloved restaurant in this location that was around for many years. What a breath of fresh air Two25 has brought to the community! They've made Locust Valley and the North Shore of Long Island proud and put us on the map as a destination for restaurant goers from even out of town!

The ambience is stunning. The space is inviting, light and airy and has a cool, casual sophistication about it. You can tell the owners have an eye for design. This is the kind of restaurant you can go to for any occasion and you'll always impress the people you're with when you take them here. I always try to sit somewhere different. I'm not one of those people who must sit at a specific table. Sometimes I'm on the bar side, which is fun as there's this cool pizza oven in the back. Other times I'm in the big dinning room with the wine rack wall and that cute little window your drinks come out of. It reminds me of when I was in Florence and they did that there too! One time when I came for a party, I got to sit upstairs in the mezzanine space. It was so intimate and you could even look down into the larger dinning room from there.

Now let's talk about the food! Two25 blends Italian and Italian American food seamlessly, which is not easy! Being in New York, the local palate is more inclined towards your standard dishes we've come to know and love over the years. Think Chicken Parm, which they have! If you know chicken cutlets, you know they need to be thin and crispy, and that's exactly how they serve them here! Sometimes I want more of that modern-day Italian cuisine, the kind of stuff I can only find in Italy. Two25 definitely delivers on this front too! Their pasta is made by hand and their sauces are amazing. I love their Bucatini Cacio e Pepe and Pappardelle alla Norma! They always have specials on the weekend and I love how I get these cute little emails letting me know about them, or I just check their Instagram.

The staff is professional, attentive, and kind. How often do you go to a restaurant and its like the staff is annoyed to help you? This is not the case at Two25! The staff is always happy and helpful. Back in grad school I used to work as a server and bartender. I know how hard this job is, these people work very hard and things change so fast in the restaurant business, so you always have to be quick on your feet. And no matter if there is some nasty customer that comes in (which we all know in Locust Valley we've got lots of them), the staff lets it roll right off their shoulder. People can be so entitled for absolutely no reason sometimes! I've seen people get so crazy if they just have to wait five minutes for their table. I mean come on! These kinds of people should just stay home, they have no manners. But you can tell the staff here is well trained and knows how to do their job.

I highly recommend Two25 Restaurant. It's a great place to come to for good Italian food, good drinks at the bar, delicious wine, and an overall good experience. We are very lucky to have a place like this right...

We very recently had my mother's 80th birthday party here at Two25 with 40 attendees. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, it has a modern, calming and upscale vibe. The restaurant and restrooms are immaculate. Crisp table settings. Cool jazz lightly cascading through the sound system. Just great overall ambiance. From the moment I walked in to inquire about having a party, I met Caitlin, who deftly and expertly handled every single issue, before, during and after, with ease and grace. She made sure that our experience was perfect. A true professional and a credit to the establishment. From the moment that our party started, the staff was incredibly attentive and intuitive. The appetizers of arancini, wontons, and artichokes were absolutely delish. The salads course was perfect. And the main dinner courses were expertly crafted. I personally had the short ribs which were melt in your mouth deliciousness. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. And although I did not taste the chicken Milanese, everyone who had it reported it to be excellent. The dessert of gelato and cappuccino was the perfect complement to the amazing meal. And if I didn't stress this point enough, Caitlin and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every whim. As an amazing example of that, before the day of the event, I mentioned to Caitlin, quite off-handedly, that although their beer selections were top shelf, they didn't have my go-to beer. Would you believe that the manager, Andrea, went out and personally made sure my favorite beer would be on hand for our event. Now that is what I call service!!!! All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and everyone, invariably, had nothing but positive reviews for the event. Two25 has skyrocketed up to our family's favorite restaurant. Thanks again Caitlin and Andrea for an...

A friend of mine loves to do holiday "Friendsgiving" gatherings. That's how I ended up there, with twenty-plus other guests. We had a long table on an elevated platform area of the restaurant. It was warm and inviting. Some guests actually felt a little too warm and started shedding layers. Seeing how the table's area was elevated, and heat rises, we probably felt the brunt of the HVAC system. So don't make too much of that.

The restaurant had some great apps (Chicken skewers, Meatballs etc.) which I think they made specifically for our party. So I'm not sure you'll get to experience them as I don't see all of them on the current website menu. We had a little bit of an issue ordering the first round of drinks. I wasn't sure if the waiter couldn't hear some of the guests or if he didn't understand the order itself. That resulted in some people not getting their order in or getting a random unknown drink. Things got a little bit better on the second round.

I had the short rib as my entree. I loved it. I switched from my anomalous mixed drink to wine, with dinner. They did have a good selection of wines. I recommend doing the same if you have a large group. All in all, I had a great time and enjoyed the food. The company of friends was a great catalyst as much as the restaurant was a great setting. I recommend you check the place out if you're into Italian. You're experience might be better regarding the drink situation with small parties or 1-on-1 dates.

P.S. They had valet but the lot looked kind of small. I parked on hilly street and walked a block or two. So I recommend getting to the vicinity of the restaurant a little early to figure the situation out and not be rushing to make your...
