When I was in college, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, my favorite sandwich was a chicken club. I had quite a few; you could say they made me the man I am today, literally.

The chicken club I had here was TEN TIMES better. Perfectly prepared and fried chicken. Real chicken, prepared with care by a real person in plain sight. Amazing magnet sauce (think sweet and spicy mayo), crispy bacon (more on that later), a fat tomato slice, and lettuce on the freshest brioche bun I've ever had. Every detail of this seemingly straightforward sandwich was executed to the zenith of perfection.

But wait, there's more! My lovely wife had the chicken breast (boneless) with waffles and she loved it very much. Real maple syrup, candied bacon that is going on my next chicken club fr fr (as the kids say), very decent little waffles. Even a ramekin of mixed fruit compote! Again, meticulous attention to detail and perfect execution.

Jeff the chef was very kind and patiently listened to my lifetime history with chicken sandwiches with great attentiveness. The other staff were all friendly and obviously hard-working.

Tips: Chicken sandwiches are a finger food, stock up on napkins. If candied bacon is available, get it.

Let the rating speak for itself. This place is phenomenal. First time ordering, placed a phone order for takeout, two sandwiches and two orders of fries. Got quoted 10-15 minutes between the order and when the food would be ready.

The restaurant and dining area is very small. If you choose to dine in, I can assume they can only accomodate up to a party of 4 or 5. The girl who took my phone order and cashed me out was very sweet and helpful. The food was packaged safely and quickly. Behind the counter was crowded with employees who looked like they were running a very well-oiled machine. Props to the manager for running an efficient, tight ship.

Now about the food! Wow!!! Under $30 for two meals and we both couldn't finish all of our food! The bread is sooooo soft and perfectly toasted. The Buffalo Chick has the perfect amount of spice and was perfectly crisp, as was my "No-Chick" (tofu) Chick Mi sandwich. It was still hot by the time I took the last bite. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. Perfect serving of crispy, flavorful fries as well.
