Took my Creative Sensation to be cleaned, and was told I needed a new tension assembly. Okayed the expense, but then received a machine that had terrible tension issues. It couldn't sew worth a darn. It sewed better before I brought it in to be cleaned. The wrong bobbin was inside the machine, cheap, linty thread on it, and when I called about it, the woman who answered the phone said I put the wrong bobbin in. I most certainly did not. Turns out the tech who worked on it, admitted it was the store's test bobbin. But why test for tension issues with a bobbin that wasn't for my model machine? Took it to Marie's Sewing Center in Lockport, and they found lint between the tension disks, confirmed the bobbin was not the correct bobbin, and balanced the stitch tension perfectly. Now I'm responding to your reply. The bobbin you left in my machine was not a true Viking bobbin. There was no H on it. There is clearly a D on it. That bobbin was not a Viking product. I recently had surgery, and that is why I wasn't able to return the machine myself. I wrote a letter detailing what the issues were, and you disputed every single issue I had with the machine, and didn't do a thing more to resolve the bad tension. You are the best store in Rochester. As a former technician, the Miele vacuum is a pleasure to work on because they use good quality parts and materials.
