The Basin Pub — Restaurant in Town of Perinton

Came here a few weeks ago for dinner with my bros. We had such a nice dinner here. We were visiting this area for vacation and we stumbled across this place. We got burgers, wings and my favorite, pretzels! These pretzels were amazing! My friends Matt, Connor and Dillon got the burger, wings and grilled cheese and they all loved everything. Best part we got to sit in a booth! I’m a booth guy and if I go to a restaurant I must sit in a booth because I believe tables r for the weak and less fortunate of society so when u sit at a table u show ur lower social class and u look like a hick. Me and the boys could never damage our reputation and image like that. So a booth it was. We would definitely come back here again if we r in the area. It’s too bad this isn’t in Delaware because that’s where we live and it would be awesome to not have to travel all the way up here for this food. First time there today. 40+ minutes, after ordering, for a turkey burger and a chicken sandwich. Both were served lukewarm, obviously they had been sitting for some time.. It came with coleslaw. The waitress never told us they serve it very spicy. My wife could not eat it. We would have made other choices if they had told us. My water glass was empty. The waitress filled every glass at the table next to us and walked away without ever looking at us, twice. Chicken sandwich came undercooked after 40+ minutes. Waitress was awful, although not completely her fault. They have 2 waitresses for a very busy lunch crowd and no organization. Each waitress had tables all over the place so there was an amazing amount of wasted time. I have a $15.00 coupon to the place which I will now throw out. I would never go there again. If it is busy be prepared to wait and then wait some more. I could not believe that it was as crowded as it was. Perhaps we hit a bad day but I will NEVER go...

I Walked in with my wife and the hostess looked down and did not greet us. "we have stool tables right now," she said. We sit down and wait for a server, no water. Her name was Rachel. We ordered beer and it took a while for the beer to get to our stool table. We ordered food; I asked for a fresh burger with no lettuce but lettuce was on it and burger was frozen/pre-cooked and dry. We did not have ketchup; hade to ask for it. We did ask for bread before our meals but it never came. We got the check and it was for someone else. I let her know that our bill was much larger than than that and she said, ' oh you are honest, when i do that, people usually pay the incorrect amount and leave."
