My husband and I stopped at this KFC. I placed my order then realized by the total that I wasn't going to get the bucket of popcorn chicken I thought I ordered because the amount wasn't enough. I explained this to the cashier and he and I both thought the problem was corrected. He told the workers in back to change the popcorn chicken to a "share " one instead. Some female came up to the register reached over my cashier reaching for buttons on the register. My cashier explained he already corrected it. My total then was $33.50, I gave him $40 got $6.50 back. Now I get my order and find out my "share popcorn chicken" is missing but I have the small container of popcorn chicken instead. Back up to the register I go with the container of chicken. My cashier asked if I got this and my "share", I told him no. The manager then comes up, I explained I got the wrong size but paid for the correct one. Showed him the receipt, which was wrong, gave him back the wrong one. He is yelling at my cashier, I get my "share" and the manager says to me just take it we are the ones that messed it up and continues yelling at my cashier and said "you need to pay closer attention to what your doing. You F___ed up and now you register is going to be off and I will have to fix it. I told my husband what had happened and what the manager said. My husband confronted the manager about yelling at the cashier and using that kind of language to an employee and doing all of this in front of customers. The manager said he had a long day and that he never swore at the cashier. Basically by saying that he was calling me a liar. This manager should be disciplined and...
Read moreIt's been about 5 or 6 years since I last ate at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and after today's meal, I'm thinking it might be another 5+ years. I've been seeing the ads for the extra crispy Nashville spicy chicken , which looked good, so I thought I would try it. It seemed to be a simple plan, it wasn't, this store didn't have any kind of extra crispy chicken, but in their defense, they said the device that makes this type of chicken was broken. They asked if they could substitute their regular chicken for the extra crispy, what could I say except yes, I was hungery, I had already paid (it wasn't until after I paid that they told me they didn't have what I had ordered), and for that, I hold them responsible, they could have told me before I paid that they didn't have any extra crispy available, I would have left, which is probably why they didn't mention this until after I paid. I ordered three pieces of chicken, I got three very small pieces (a leg & two theighs) of what I figured must have been a bantum chicken (about the size of a Roadrunner). If they would have thrown in an extra piece of this tiny bird or given me a breast rather than a second theigh, I might have felt a little better for not getting the extra crispy that I ordered & wanted, but no! This turned me off to KFC, but mostly to this particular store, I will more than likely never go back to this location. I should have stuck to Subway, where I can see what...
Read moreToday 7/24/24 was the worst experience ever at the Merrill Wisconsin KFC/Taco Bell. Tried ordering 2 tender dinners only to be told that they were out of coleslaw and fries for side's and continued to wait in line for about 15 minutes only to be told at the window that they were out of mac and cheese so told them to give me extra mashed potatoes and gravy. A few minutes later they came to the window and said that it was going to be another 20 minutes for the chicken tenders to get done so was asked to pull around and park and come inside to wait. Waited inside for 25 minutes only to be asked what I was waiting for. After telling the person what I ordered he went to the back and about 10 minutes he finally brought out the bag of food. Meanwhile while I was sitting inside waiting you could hear everything employees said and one employee said that he was glad it was his day off tomorrow and if he could find someone who would take his job he'd quit tomorrow. Customers shouldn't have to listen to that kind of talk. Going to be a long time before I revisit this particular place....
