Bogey's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Queensbury

I've been to Bogey's a few times and the food was fine, nothing fantastic but about what you'd expect in terms of pub food and I enjoyed it well enough. It has been a couple of years and I was excited to meet family out for lunch at one of the outside tables as the weather was quite nice. The food, unfortunately, was all around terrible. The chicken ceasar wrap's chicken was overcooked and had hard edges that I had trouble biting. The fries in all of our meals were very over fried and hard. I LOVE fries and didn't eat any after I tried the first one. The french dip tasted like it was just frozen steak 'ems slapped on a roll and the au jus was extremely salty and gross. In addition to the bad food, we were being harassed by wasps. 4 of them went into our various drinks and drowned and another 6+ were flying around our faces and getting on the food. I know this is not the fault of Bogey's, when you're outside that can happen, but definitely a huge annoyance and concern when you're there with kids or have an allergy. The servers were friendly and nothing was their fault, but honestly we won't be going back again any time soon, the food was just too bad. I don't know if they were having an off day or it's a newer cook or something but I don't often write reviews and felt like the experience was worth warning...

If you're looking for great food combined with a terrific customer service experience, Bogey's is the place. In recent years, they've made it an obvious priority to offer the best experience in local golfing, fine dining and a fun place to meet up with friends. Derik, the Manager, has succeeded in transforming Bogey's into a real local gem. It's so refreshing to come here and enjoy having a personable waiter or waitress who seems to take pride in their job.

The food is really yummy and you they offer a large selection so that you can bring even the pickiest eater and everyone will find something to enjoy. I love the Ruben but even when I'm "being Good" I can get a very tasty salad. Portions are ample too, so going away hungry is not going to happen especially considering the terrific dessert selections.

The space itself is a bright and cozy, lots of windows looking out on the beautiful greens (which look really pretty covered in snow during the winter too). It's a great place to host social gatherings where you can let them do all the cooking, serving and cleaning while you enjoy...

Amazing Service! We would like to thank the owner Deric Buck for going above and beyond in accommodating our family at a very difficult time. We were in sudden need of a place to gather after a death in the family. It was a holiday weekend and the dining room was closed. However, Mike was very helpful in connecting us to Deric who opened up the dining room especially for us. The quick and efficient service made an emotional time much easier. The atmosphere and service was excellent. Marty was very friendly and attentive and made everyone feel welcomed. There was a good variety of menu options and the food was delicious.
