I visit McDonald's, at most, twice a month as a treat. I have also worked at multiple locations, many years ago when they took out the giant heated holding bin for sandwiches and started the "made for you" assembly. I've opened, closed and transitioned, worked every crew position and set drive-thru records on order and drawer accuracy.
One evening during a dine-in visit, the evening manager was too lazy to go and check on a customer that has slipped on the icy pavement. The drive-thru runner had to pull out the "Do your job!" card. He mumbled his frustrtions under his breath on his way out with the accident report AND was still grumbling when he went to salt the walks. Needless to say he didn't even use PPE to scatter the salt.
On other occasions in drive-thru visits, in between rushes, I've been handed incomplete orders. The worst was when they completely forgot MY main meal item. It would have been more upsetting had they forgotten my kids' main food item.
Food is often missed bagged (large fry laying on top of 2 layers of boxed items) so that the bags cannot be closed. Fries are cold and side ways in their box as well as very under filled. Grilled chicken, crispy chicken, and fish filets are served BEYOND their cabinet hold times and luke warm and rubbery. I have even stated I don't mind waiting for a fresh one, and have been served a rubbery luke warm, soggy breaded meat, or worse, a dried piece of jerky. Sandwiches are often slapped together so it is not uncommon to have to put half the slice of cheese back in, or have filet sauce or mayo every where.
It's really disgusting seeing one of their drive-thru handout crew workers wipe their nose on the back of their hand then hand you your drinks and straws. Not to mention the fact that thier uniform was dirty and I could smell that bitter stink of poor hygene.
I've only been served by a few crew that didn't have sour expressions, and only one manager that was really embarrassed by the mistake made by his crew.
Additionally, dine-in order assembly is always wrong. Drinks, main food item, fries. Fries are ALWAYS last on trays or in bags or they get ridiculously cold, EXTREMELY fast, and the crew is NOT to pick up fries off the counter and put them on a customer's tray. Especially after handling money...
I think it would be in their best interest for everyone there to re-read, thoroughly the employee handbook. Managers need to re-read the management books as well has any operations manuals and re-train the...
Read moreMarch 15, 2024 1:02 PM, went to drive-through to get lunch ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget a large unsweetened, iced tea, light ice, and a fish fillet sandwich. At the first window, I paid. I arrived at the second window. The employees had no idea what I ordered handed me a bag of food off the window and said have a nice day. Afterwards asked me what I ordered. I let them know that I ordered a fish fillet sandwich in a six piece chicken nugget, they took the bag from me, looked inside the bag, put it on the table and after a couple of minutes, handed me a new bag with a large fry and a 10 piece chicken nugget. Maybe if instead of trying to clear the order off the screen to keep your drive-through times down, maybe it would be better to have higher drive-through times and better order accuracy. Three separate people came to the drive-through window to ask me what I ordered. Very chaotic inside of the restaurant. Maybe the district manager step in and possibly train some of the employees. It is such a shame that the quality of food in the service has diminished this badly over the years. It seems that no one inside the restaurant that is an employee has any idea what they are doing there.
Went in on 2/23/23 at 7:30 pm. Staff seemed like they were all either high or drunk. Male and female at front counter went outside to “vape some THC” they bragged about it. Male had clothes lined up on front counter. Food order was a disaster. Fries thrown in the bag all over. Not a single thing was right on the order. Burgers were cold and the cheese melted through the buns. Ended up throwing the food away when we got to the gas station down the road. Would have went back if the storm wasnt so bad. This store is ridiculous lately. Seems like managment doesnt care. The floors were disgusting. If you go here afte 6 pm dont order anything from the ice cream or shake machine. Its down daily...

Traveling to a different McDonald's to avoid the wait time is worth it!
There is no reason for any vehicle to be sitting in the drive-through for 15 minutes or more. Workers are always seen standing around, talking to each other, or putting off the clock employees before costumers (in one case, I saw the 1 out of 2 workers take 15 minutes to make them 2 drinks! She also licked her hand when she spilled the drink & then proceeded to grab someone else's order without washing her hands!). I went in after sitting in the drive-through again for 15+ minutes, only 2 workers & both were just standing & staring. I was given complete excuses for the wait time. If not, one vehicle moves within 15 minutes in a drive-through line- You have seriously lazy employees. Also- the number of mistakes made for every order here is ridiculous. They definitely don't earn their paycheck! The downfall in reviews for this mcdonalds location says it all.
Finally, at window - 8:45- mobile ordered & arrived at 7:59- They took so long with everyone's orders- they now have us reordering at the window because the screen timed out! 8:47 received our order after the women consistently had to ask us again & again what our order was, not a hard order to memorize. Very incompetent.
I'm never coming to this location again! Waste of...
