Decided to eat here for a Friday dinner. We hadn't been here in over a decade and to tell the truth we weren't impressed the last time we ate here and for some reason we thought we'd stop back. The waitress was friendly enough. A party of 2 and we both ordered the Perch dinner. If you're from the Sheboygan area, a Friday night fish fry Perch dinner means "LAKE PERCH" not OCEAN PERCH. I never gave it a second thought that when my fish fry came to the table that the fish was going to be ocean perch as virtually every restaurant in this area specifies ocean perch if they aren't going to serve lake perch. The waitress placed our plates on the table, and I immediately asked her what kind of fish this was as I could tell it wasn't lake perch. You could see in her facial expression that she's been asked this same question before, and she gave a totally sheepish response. "It's OCEAN PERCH' and then totally didn't want anything to do with more conversation. Granted, the menu just states "PERCH" but I find that totally misleading. Also, if you are using a credit card, they charge you a 3.75% NCA (non-cash adjustment) Who carries cash around anymore? There are NO signs that tells you this and the only way you know is at the bottom of the menu in fine print it's revealed. At the end of the meal, we asked about dessert. Another joke, as if you want dessert you have to walk yourself up to the counter and pick one out. The stupidest thing I've ever seen. At the end of the meal, we asked for a receipt and of course it wasn't itemized. Totally shady as we have no idea what the meal cost, and what their stupid NCA was. We will never...

Have always has great food here. This visit wasn't like before. Walked in the bakery side, no one there. A few people at tables. Went to bar area. Server was flustered seeing me. I asked if i take a booth. Yes but They had to clean it. Ok.

Floor was dirty, looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned in a while. Music is nice, great sound system, but on level 10 is crazy. Luckily it was turned down at some point.

Server was pleasant but unsure of things but worked with that. Ordered soup, appetizer and entrée. Server forgot to put in soup order. Potato w entrée came alone first. Appetizer and entrée came. Entrée was ok. Appetizer was lukewarm n wasn't fresh. Definitely tasted off. I'm sure if you smelled it before cooking you'd be able to tell.

Had to ask where soup was, Server had to order. It came and was so salty it was inedible. The side sauce w the entrée had turned bad n tasted metallic.

I told the Server and had her taste a small serving of soup n she immediate agreed it was terrible. I asked her to ask the cook to taste the soup, side n appetizer. She returned n said the cook rolled his eyes. And nothing else.

I got the check, nothing was said about the meal, and the amount was over $40, for a meal I couldn't finish.

I asked to speak to the manager, who came by and wasn't friendly. I told him all I've said here calmly. He curtly said, I'll check into it. Turned n walked away. I'm still not sure what that means.

Might give them one more chance. we shall see. Disappointed with them for the years of great meals n service I've had there. Guess it is hard to find good help today...

It was a Saturday and a late Lunch. There were 2 of us dining. My friend had a a cup of soup & a large salad, as her entree. I had the daily special ($9.99), which was an open-faced Prime Rib sandwich with a cup of au jus, the broasted potatoes side & a side salad. The food came out fairly quick. But I did have to ask the waitress for a steak knife, for my Prime Rib. I could not cut it with the butter knife supplied with the tables silverware. The piece of Prime Rib lying on top of the bread slice, was quite large!! I could taste the 'rub' on the outside edges of the meat & it was tasty & flavorful & the Prime Rib was tender. The broasted potatoes were very good also!! One mini thing; When we came inside, we were brought to a booth (that we requested) to be seated at, and asked by the young lady, if she could get us something to drink right away? I was in the mood for a cocktail, so I asked if we were able to order drinks from the bar, while dining? She said yes, and I proceeded to ask if I could have a 'Clam Digger' (kind of a SE WI staple, maybe?)? She just said; 'we don't make those'!! Silence.... So, without that apparent option, nor an offer to maybe substitute it with a 'Bloody Mary' from the bar, etc.... I just opted for...
