Bagel King — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

MMMmmm… one of the best Egg & Cheese sandwiches around! We always make sure to grab our bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches to the start of any road trip. The satisfaction of flavor, and texture of bagel, including construction, and seasoning…They never disappoint. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Coffee station is great, with creamers. The bakery display always has quality items. I am very discriminating and picky about my everything bagels, and cookies, etc. and they’re always top notch. What I also love is usually they have the seasonal frosted sugar cookies for every holiday, so I always stop in to get a couple of special decorated royal icing frosted cookies for my kids, especially at Christmastime. Everyone gets one in his/her stocking, even the pets, but I eat their cookies for them since they’re cookie for humans. Beware! PRICE GOUGING occurs here!!! This place will make up random prices as they see fit. I’m not sure the name of the person who rang me up on the previous visits, however I always get the same sandwich. 3 eggs no meat , no cheese with onions, jalapeños and mushrooms. I’ve been charged $5.99 consistently until today when Selena rang me up. I was not as hungry so I asked how much for 1 egg and 2 eggs sandwiches which she replied $3.99 & 4.99. She ended up ringing me up for $14.21 for 1 egg, onions, mushrooms & jalapeños and 2 eggs with same toppings. This costs more than the 3 eggs sandwiches which sandwiches I previously ordered. I don’t believe it’s fair for a business to deceive and cheat their customers. We should be valued or we will go elsewhere. This was definitely no accident; they tried to milk me for more money. I could only imagine if I added bacon and cheese…… are looking at a $12 sandwich?!?!?! Seriously $7 for 2 eggs no meat no cheese…wow! You lost...

Bagel King has some of the best bagels around. They are the epidemy of a New York bagel. The staff is friendly and efficient. I've been going to this particular location for over 20 years and they have yet to disappoint.

If you want the hottest, most delicious bagel you've ever had, get there between 5:30 and 6:30AM when the first batches are coming out. You will not be disappointed. Been there for 20 years and I hope they stay there for another 20. Sometimes, I'll be late to work, just to get my bagel fix in the morning.
