Local favorite and perfect central WHB Main Street location but the owner needs to keep it cleaner! Baked goods wonderful, service is very friendly and they are always working hard behind the pastry counters. Eclairs are great! However the owner needs to pay more attention to keeping the place picked up, as well as more attention to customers. There is a specialty coffee bar ( cappuccinos +) here that is rarely manned. Seems that customers are expected to order electronically on two devices next to the counter. No live person is available to order from. Sometimes these devices don't work, plus in general no-one wants to use them. The result is very few specialty coffee orders here, in an age where everyone is drinking coffee all day, every day. You can go across the street for coffees, but why? Customers are also expected to clean off the tables themselves. They don't, so it can be a mess. People try to enjoy by sitting down at tables, but with dirty dishes sitting with them, ugh! The owner needs to address these things so that this gem of a shop stays on top. Place still needs to be cleaned up. ...

I was excited to see all the amazing desserts, and especially the coffee bar. My experience with the clerk, and I say clerk because she was nothing more, who made my coffee drink was, to be polite, unsatisfactory. Her attitude was one of "I'm already doing you a favor by paying attention to you, what now?" She made my drink, and after treating it, I said it needed more chocolate. The pump on the bottle was not dispensing well, so while she pumped often, very little came out. Rather than acknowledging my issue and the flaw, she ignored me, and waited on the next person, while I stood there. After she finished with the other customer, I again asked for more chocolate. She looked at me with a sour face, and said, "I already put a lot of chocolate in there." I replied that it wasn't the number of pumps, but the broken pump that prevented sufficiency in the number. She grabbed the bottle and thrust it to me, saying, "here, you can do it yourself!" I happily added what was needed, but if course, she wouldn't blend it. For almost $10, I'll find a store that wants my business and...

Where to start? The custard filled croissants are heaven. Apple cake is luscious. They're known for the strawberry shortcake which is always a favorite for us for birthdays. The best things ever are the holiday Stollen (served warm) and the holiday marble pound cake. It's made with almond paste and has either cherries or cranberries in it. You can get it with powdered sugar or glazed. One of those things where you say, "just one more sliver" until it's all gone. I also love the strawberry tarts.

Sometimes the help can be a little undertrained and don't know all the details of a certain item but the regular girls are great. The self serve coffee is meh, so I usually stop at 7-11 to get some joe before hitting the bakery. Owner Simon is always friendly and happy to help you make a selection.

You can sit and enjoy your baked goods there and they also have a grill where you can get breakfast or lunch, though I've never tried anything other than the baked goods and gelato in summer. The other cool thing is they're open super later in summer, in case you crave a donut at...

Growing up in Westhampton Beach, I’ve been visiting the Beach Bakery for many years.. It’s always been the heart of this town, staying open through the winter and providing consistently delicious baked goods, coffee and food as well as a warm and inviting atmosphere.. The previous owner, Simon, was always present and ran a very tight operation.. I just stopped into the bakery for the first time since they changed owners and I will be honest and say that I could definitely tell that there’s been a change.. The window display didn’t have the same charm, the shop wasn’t as clean and organized, and the selection of baked goods was not what it once was.. Having said that, the food was still very good (not sure if the bakers are the same).. This was the only time I’ve been in, and I will keep an open mind and continue to support this business.. I’ve heard good things about the new management and I know this is still the place to go for baked goods and treats..
