My stay at Seven Beach Lane this weekend was absolutely perfect. Tea time on the balcony, leisurely lays and lunch by the pool, the continental breakfast with the amazing orange juice packaged in individual mini milk jars, the serene atmosphere and slow days… I’m still fantasizing. From the thoughtfully designed aesthetics to the plush Frette linens, no detail was overlooked. The hospitality was impeccable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bartender Dillon was amazing… FYI, he makes some amazing mocktails. The fresh ingredients and whole foods used in the cuisine allowed us to dine guilt free. A few of my fave meals were my avocado toast in the morning with a side of bacon on whole grain toast with my eggs over medium, the white wine mussels with the chopped up shishito peppers, the roasted chicken, my poolside fish tacos with kale and other fun garnish, and the lunch caesar salad topped with salmon that they customized for me with a lemon olive oil dressing because I have a dairy allergy… So delish! And our rooms… where do I start! So my boyfriend and I were on a couple’s trip but a few of our friends joined us, so we booked the three King Patio Balcony rooms on the ground floor with the beautiful pool view. Each of these rooms had their own private entrance which was clutch because we didn’t have to enter the building ever if we didn’t want to. It felt very secluded which was the vibe we were looking for. Coffee in the mornings on the balcony nestled on the comfy outdoor loveseat was so peaceful. And as a bonus, we were able to kick back with our friends on our respective balconies together should we choose. We loved that feature! Everything was walking distance… the pool, the restaurant, town, and even the beach! Life was just made so simple.
Cory, Reno, Ben, Dillon, and the entire staff really went out of their way to ensure we had the best time. As New Yorkers looking to slow the days down, escape the every day hustle and bustle, and enjoy the last taste of summer, Seven Beach Lane gave us that and more! If you’re looking to reclaim your peace and collect your thoughts, highly recommended!… and this comes from a serious...
Read moreHorrible experience staying at this hotel. If you are looking to get discriminated against then you can consider as a decent option. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel and couldn’t wait for them to open. I called them to book and had a great experience until I arrived there. We checked in to the penthouse which btw does not look like their posted pictures at all. The living area does not have shades or curtains, and everyone can see straight into your room. Shower pressure is terrible. The AC was strong, but there is a loud noise coming out of one of the vents. For the price, you would expect nicer finishes, but this was not a deal breaker for us. We decided to go down and sit by the bar, ordered a drink and within minutes the restaurant manager walked over to me and asked me to remove my hat. I told him I couldn’t because of religious reasons, and he said ok and walked away. He then came back with the hotel manager and asked me to remove my hat, I told him I couldn’t because of religious reasons, and he said if we’d like we can sit outside then. Please keep in mind we were the only ones staying at the hotel that night, and there was only one other outside group sitting at the restaurant. To tell your only customer to sit outside because of a head covering is mind boggling. Even if this is the dress code, to throw your only customer outside is not the kind hotel I want to...
Read moreStaff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are well appointed. BUT 7 Beach Lane is ridiculously overpriced for what it is. We chose a king suite at $1200 per night - IN NOVEMBER! Require a minimum stay of two nights - IN NOVEMBER! Friends who we were visiting suggested this place so decided to pay the price. Bedroom is ridiculously tiny. Barely enough space to move other than sideways (is this code?) between end of bed and wall. Decided to write this off to experiences and leave after dinner with friends on 2nd night. We informed staff and they very kindly upgraded us to a two full-size bedrooms suite which was perfect and more in keeping with the rate of $1200 per night.||||This is a pretty new place, and kinks have not yet been ironed out - first room we were offered, bathroom had no window covering so get out of the shower and you are fully exposed to whoever chooses to look in. Second room where we stayed - bathroom (no windows) heaters not connected. And noisy - every time a guest in other rooms shut their room door, our room door rattled loudly. Had to jam cardboard into the space between door and frame to stop the reverberation.||||Positives - food in restaurant was excellent, staff are very responsive...
