Melrose East Restaurant and Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Southampton

I have been ordering from this place for over 10 years and it was very reliable but in the last year it has gone completely down hill. I ate there or ordered out at least 3 times a week for all of these years. They have raised their prices over 3 times and the service has gotten really bad. There are always new people taking orders and it seems like they cannot keep their employees. In the last 6 months alone, there have been 4 different people answering the phone and were all brand new and would mess up the order. On top of that, everytime I order or go in, the prices are constantly different depending on who takes the order. It has become very inconsistent. I have heard this from a lot of people as well and they have all stopped going and now go to Francescas, Pauls, and Slice of the Hamptons instead. I agree and will...

I came here once with my mentor and a few classmates after our internship.

The place is in the middle of the highway and we were hungry, so why not stop for pizza.

The pizza, we ordered two plain pizzas and it tasted good, like a casual brick oven pizza you would expect from a New York joint.

The environment inside is nice, very spacious and there is even a TV, in case there's news you need to hear, or weather you'd like to know about.

We didn't order anything else from this place, but I have to say that nothing bad happened. The service was good, the pizza was good, and it was a pleasant experience. Nothing bad to say about Melrose, no sir.

If I was at Southampton again, I'd probably come back here for pizza and perhaps try some more things...

Terrible service and long waits for simple deliveries. Over an hour for a cheese pie and garlic knots and the pizza was cold. When we called back the lady was rude and offered to refund the money and have her driver pick up the pizza, I said no but we just won't ever order from. You guys again and neither will our friends or family... They are gonna have a rough winter now.
