In general, rather disappointed with how far this place has fallen ever since the change of ownership.
THE FOOD (-1 star) - Some of it can be good, but the quality of the food is way to inconsistent. From their sandwiches to their wings, it ranges from incredibly dry cardboard and overcooked to sickly undercooked. It is extremely rare for me to have to reheat food in order to stomach eating it.
THE AMBIENCE (Star) - It's a homely tavern, relatively clean, not really any overbearing music, mostly the sounds of others around you and the company that are with you
THE CUSTOMER SERVICE (Star) - The waitstaff overall seem nice and accommodating.
THE PRICES (No star) - It has increased a little bit which is normal for prices, I do not feel that it's worth its price to pay for food that MIGHT be good
MISCELLANEOUS (No star) - They used to have a website, but it no longer functions, so there is no easy access to their current menu. They do have a wheelchair ramp, but the entry door is at the back of the restaurant and might be locked, and there are a lack of parking spaces for wheelchair vans. I’m leaving this review based on the dining experience. The food was delicious. Young wait staff, but attentive. I do hope that someone from the rowdy group sitting near us at dinner reads this. It’s my third time at Kelly’s. It’s my second time being there while this rowdy group of adults is also there. For reference I was there with my children. There was a large table for the adults and two small tables for their children. This group was so inconsiderate of the rest of the people having dinner at this restaurant. They were loud to the maximum. The children were running around even under tables shouting and yelling. My sons have a lot of energy too, but in the restaurant they are well behaved. According to the wait staff, this group of adults behave in this obnoxious manner every time. The staff is sick of it, but feel powerless to do anything about it. Their poor behavior impacts the experience of the other customers and the staff serving them. This resulted in making everyone else very uncomfortable. (PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW) I want to preface this by saying that my hamburger was delicious, despite the fact that it was on slightly stale bread. The appetizers were good (the mozzarella sticks, which had good cheese and crunch but the breading was a little thick- and the chicken fingers, which were your typical frozen tenders.) However, the quality from there really dropped. A plate of the junior nachos were ordered and they were absolutely disgusting to say the least. It was plastered with the hard, melted shredded cheese, some pieces of olives and jalapeños and was smothered with a very distasteful “beef” sauce that had no resemblance to the ground beef that was assumed to be given from the menu. Please do not order the junior nachos. The French dip was okay! The service was okay too, but the waitress admitted that one should not be ordering food items that are unpopular.
