Black Sheep Bagels Cutchogue — Restaurant in Town of Southold

I ADORE Goldberg’s when they opened in Mattituck. It was worth the wait in line. Everything was delicious. I Watched Chris grow his business and I was so excited a good deli was coming to cutchogue!

I’m on a fixed income- I seldom eat out at all anymore. But, it’s hard because we have some really great food in the North Fork.

I am adjusting my review because mistakes happen. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich and I was given a balsamic marinated cutlet. I did not ask for that and unfortunately I had to throw it out. It is such a hopping place, the last thing I want to do is complain in front of line of customers for what was obviously a mistake. I feel badly for my initial review, I think I was just hangry.

Today I got an egg sandwich and I am delighted that for what is a decent cost for me is well worth it for the treat of something good.

Stopped there on our way to the Ferry yesterday. Food was great, customer service not so much. We picked up our everything bagels and when we unwrapped them, one was severely burned. I don’t mind a well toasted bagel, but that would’ve been dangerous to consume. So my husband went back in and asked to get a new one. The employee, with an eye roll, proceeded to make us a new bagel and when handing it to my husband said: for next time, it was just the seasoning on the bagel that was burned. Hands down the best bagel spot around! Every time I come to Black Sheep Bagels, the service is top-notch, but I have to give a special major shoutout aka the bagel goat.
