(This is the Dunkinā Donuts on broadway st in the Southport plaza in the town of Elmira)(Iām also a student of Notre dame high school so this location is the closest to me) and sometimes stop to get a refresher (especially the new mango pineapple) however when I stopped in this morning it was packed! I donāt blame the person whatsoever who made my drink (Lrg mango pineapple refresher, regardless I drank the whole thing) this morning because I understand how it feels during rush hour when making food/drink,but when I got my drink I thought everything was made right but I think who ever made my drink this morning either gave me the right cup and label but the wrong drink. Iām only saying this because I have (diagnosed by my doctor when 3) adhd and the side affects of adhd makes your heart beat faster then normal people with out it, (The meds that I take to help with my adhd basically adds more adrenaline on top of my adhd) which means I have to watch how much caffeine I take in, and with most energy drinks that I drink my body reacts differently then people without adhd, and the reaction that Iām still having right now was the same when i had one can of monster for the first time, so Iām thinking that who ever made my drink this morning gave me the right cup but the wrong drink. As I said I donāt blame the worker at all if it was a mistake, but I just want to let whoever reads this review even if itās a worker, management, etc⦠that if you make a mistake on an order or you think you read an order wrong double check the order, even if you do realize that an order was made wrong tell the customer that you made a mistake and that you will try your best to accommodate them. Yes some people wonāt be as understanding about it than others if their orders wrong but my advice is to be patient with the customer and to be understanding. Other than that any time I go here their really nice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I went to the Southport N.Y. Dunkin on Sunday 3/23 around 10am. We had the worst experience we have ever had at any Dunkin establishment. The man working the drive thru rushed us to place a order. While I was asking my husband for his order the man told us to pull ahead, that we were talking too long, holding up the line and that he would take out order at the window. Mind you, that we were only at the speaker for a few moments. Once we got to window, I told him I didn't get a chance to finish looking over the menu. He told me that I should have came inside if I didn't know what I wanted and that the drive thru is for people who know what they want. I remained calm and explained to him that I felt he was being unfair and that I am a paying customer just like everyone else and that there aren't rules on who can go through the drive thru or not. The man told me that I was not understanding him and raised his voice. My husband stepped in and told him his customer service was unacceptable. I in no way was trying to hold up the line or cause an issue and was very respectful the entire time however, the man at the window was rude and made me feel less than. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and do not wish to return to that store again. I wanted to report this because it is not right for him to treat people that way. Especially when I was nothing but kind...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbout a month ago I went to this location to buy 4lbs of ground hazelnut coffee. I've chosen this location for years because they have the largest selection of flavors and it's usually buy 3 get one free. When I tried to enter the building the door was locked even though the open sign was on and the drive thru was full of cars. The "hours of operation" sign said they were open until 8pm and it was only 7pm at this time. Went back to my car and called them. I told the girl that answered the situation and she said "Yep." Then I said, "So you're open but your door will remain locked? With your open sign on?" Again from the employee, "Yep." No explanation, nothing. She was rude and had no interest in the least in talking with me. I wasn't about to sit in a line of cars to buy coffee. I don't do it for a cup, I'm not doing it for ground coffee. I took my business down the street and paid more money for less coffee from a local vendor, which was fine with me. I'd rather pay the little local guy for better quality and great customer service than be treated like that any day. I know it won't make a difference to DD but I won't be darkening their...
