I am surprised by the recent mixed reviews of this place. We went here for dinner and had a great experience. The food and service were good in my opinion.
We ordered the beef boti, chicken tikka masala, and naan. The naan was nicely crisped. The beef boti was ordered spicy and it did not disappoint. I loved seeing the sizzling plate for the beef boti despite the guy bringing our the plate burning his fingers and jumping in the air. The meat was tender and flavorful. Same with the chicken tikka masala.
The service was great. Everyone was friendly. The food came out in a reasonable time. We were given jolly ranchers along with our bill. No rude staff as indictated by a couple recent reviews I've read.
The atmosphere is their weakness I think. There were a strange smell when we walked in. I didnt like it. The tables has a fine dining aesthetic which I don't quite get. Very darkly lit. We were sitted close to the air conditioner which ran intermittently. You can really hear how loud it is when it finally stops blowing air and the silence of the room gets louder
Overall, very great experience. I do plan on trying them again. I think I will more likely order delivery next time but dining in is still an option I...
Read moreHands down, Delhi Palace of Buffalo has the best Indian 🇮🇳 food that I’ve had in probably 25 years. Please don’t be thrown off by the somewhat dated interior - this sort of adds to the experience. When we entered, we were greeted quickly, we were offered water and the servers were kind, friendly and professional. The restaurant had nice utensils and china. They also had black cloth napkins. We ordered food using the QR code on the table. We ordered 2 Naan bread ($4), one mixed vegetable pakora ($11), Paneer Tikka Masala ($13.50) and a House Special Makai Kofta ($13.50). The total with tip came to $54.08. We were given two papadoms with 3 different Indian condiments and 2 rice pudding desserts for free. The food was flavourful and fresh! Honestly, we could have split one meal. However, I’m happy we didn’t. We were given very high quality takeaway containers. I wish this place was closer as we would be eating here ALL THE TIME! I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in my lifetime, the food here is authentic and amazingly good! I’m so happy we stopped. Thank you 🙏🏻 to the owners and staff at...
Read moreWe visited with a large group while at Niagara Falls and deeply regret choosing this place. It’s in a remote, uninviting location. The moment we walked in, there was a strange smell, dirty cutlery on the table, dim lighting, and filthy washrooms — the atmosphere was instantly off-putting.
The food was equally disappointing. For vegetarians, the gobi matar had no salt, dal tadka was thick and pasty, and the saag paneer had barely any saag. For non-veg, the mutton in Rogan Josh was undercooked and chicken tikka had no flavor. When we complained about the raw mutton, the chef was brought out — and instead of listening, he was rude and dismissive. No apology, no resolution, and no offer to adjust the bill.
Only the chicken biryani was passable — and that’s saying a lot.
With poor hygiene, bad food, and terrible customer service, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Niagara Falls has plenty of better options —...
