Royal Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

we went for later dinner, I had broiled fish. The owner kept hovering around the restaurant, I personally felt he was pushing the waitresses with micro managing them. They were a bit busy but he just kept watching them and watching in my opinion for any little mistake they made. Then he would go around to the patrons and ask them how things were that is fine or the first time but to keep hovering around the restaurant and patrons making them feel like they could not relax and enjoy that dinner.. TOO MUCH ! Ask then leave people be.. There was a couple sitting at the table close to us and when they got up to leave there was a spider crawling on their table..GROSS too many plants in that restaurant, needs to be updated. Then there was he food. I ordered the broiled fish it was gray in color and had no flavor... I ordered curly fries and some of them were under cooked. I have ordered mashed, wedges and regular in the past AND it seems like for some reason the cook does not know how to make potatoes...This restaurant USED to be very good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I am NOT impressed any more and probably will not be back any time soon. Note to the owner and cook if it was not for your patrons you would not have...

The only reason this place gets 1 star is because I cant give ZERO stars. the owner sits out amongst the customers listening to either music or watching videos from his phone. Who does that? It has happened twice so far. First time: he was just walking around the tables with his phone near his ear, BLASTING whatever bouzouki tunes he was listening to. I didnt care as much because, it was only ridiculously loud when he stopped to ask me how my food was. Second time: Im seated right near him. I couldnt believe it. He was watching some news channel, or at least listening to it. I honestly couldnt tell if he was like some local character who frequented this place or what. So, I asked my waitress if I could be moved from that spot. When she did move us, she confirmed that that was the owner and he does that all the time. Thats ridiculous. Go sit in your office and listen to youtube all day. I felt like I was on a public bus, not in a restaurant. Food isnt terrible tho. 3/5 for food. 0/5 if you get seated next...

I absolutely love this place my husband and I come about every one to two months for the past 9 years. We never leave disappointed at all. For breakfast I get the beef souvlaki with eggs and home fries. For lunch I get the chicken florentine sub with steak fries and my husband gets the open chicken souvlaki salad. Everyone is welcoming and they greet you with a smile and it feels like a family oriented place, they have wonderful customer service and we always leave feeling full and at peace knowing that our meal was cooked with love and our money was well spent. You can really tell they care about their customers and business and that is a family owned business.
