My husband and I ate dinner here last night for our anniversary. First and foremost- the work they put into the details of this space is immaculate. Walking in immediately felt warm and inviting. The hostess was so polite. We had 8pm reservations and were able to be seated right away. We sat next to a window and I only wish it was brighter outside because I know the Delaware must look absolutely breathtaking from their property. Our waitress came over promptly to over water and was also so sweet!
Moving onto ordering— we ordered drinks. He had the spleen and ideal and I had the lady Giselle. Both were fantastic (hence why we had 3 rounds). Food wise we ordered the onion soup (one of the best I’ve ever had) and the Goat Cheese flatbread (not even going to try the French spelling, I will butcher it). They were phenomenal. We brought the leftover flat bread home with us. For dinner we both had the steak frites with the herb garlic butter sauce… we both agreed that this was one of the best steaks we’d ever had. It was cooked to absolute perfection. We did want to try the crème brûlée for dessert but unfortunately they were sold out of it after a busy night. Again, not the biggest deal. We will certainly be back to give it a try!
Our one and only complaint was they brought our steaks quite quickly after receiving our appetizers but this did not influence our review by any means. The server did offer to hold the steaks and bring them back later but it truly wasn’t that big of a deal to inconvenience the staff on what seemed to be a busy night for them.

Read moreLa Cigogne is a culinary treasure that brings the charm and flavors of France to our small town of Narrowsburg. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed with warm, friendly service that makes you feel right at home.
The menu is a fantastic blend of traditional French classics and creative dishes that showcase the chef's passion for fine cuisine. I started with the escargot, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with garlic and herb flavors. For the main course, I had the coq au vin, and it was nothing short of spectacular - tender chicken in a rich, savory sauce that I could not get enough of.
The ambiance is cozy and intimate, with tasteful decor that adds to the authentic French dining experience. It's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a special occasion with family and friends.
In short, La Cigogne is a must-visit. Whether you're a lover of French cuisine or just looking for a memorable dining experience, this restaurant delivers in every way. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreThe visit to the beautiful town of Narrowsburg is not complete without the Tusten mountain hike and, of course, a visit (or two!) for drinks, dinner, or brunch at the beautiful Cigogne. Between dim, romantic lighting, smooth jazz trailing in the background, stylish staff, and, of course, fantastic food and drinks, you may feel like you have been transported to a trendy Parisian restaurant as soon as you walk through the doors. You can tell that every detail was given a thoughtful consideration-from the table decor to the plating, to the drink garnishes. Then there is the view to top it all off. Also, the owner was there on Saturday night, checking in with the guests, the kitchen and dining room. We cannot wait to experience Cigogne again very soon. Merci beaucoup to everyone who made our...
