Although the atmosphere/ambience, view of the river, and staff were phenomenal (warranting 5 stars), the food and drink was incredibly subpar - hence my low rating. This place has been open for a few years and has recently changed ownership. I finally got around to visiting this June and was so disappointed in the beverages and food. As a bartender, the pours were incredibly small - with most cocktails coming with a large whisky ice cube that gave the illusion of having a full tumbler glass, but really only left you with a few sips of cocktail. I tried the Hot Mess cocktail, a tequila-based drink that was muddled & garnished with jalapeño. Although I love spice, the menu did not include jalapeño in the description of the cocktail and it was incredibly spicy (jalapeño garnish included seeds). I also tried the can G&T - it was a lemon ginger G&T and was not the greatest. The cider was tasty, although the pour was probably only 3ish ounces - certainly not a standard cider/beer pour. We started our meal off with $10 chips & salsa - both of which were homemade. Although the salsa (think pico) was tasty, it came in a teacup & saucer - so only about a 1/4 cup if that. The homemade tortilla chips were incredibly thick and hard - almost like gnawing on a pigs ear. For $10, I thought it was very overpriced and not satisfying. I shared a pizza with my guest, at the recommendation of the waiter. However, the pizza was really only a personal size (despite being told it was a hefty portion that two people could easily share; a small, thin crust pizza that would have definitely been a satisfactory individual entree). The pizza was tasty but for the size and meager amount of ricotta, not for $16+. For the price and quality of the food, I docked 3 stars. The spot has a lot of potential if they did not succumb to the Narrowsburg atmospheric-pressure of small & expensive = great. I do not recommend coming here for cocktails if you want something of a standard pour. I also do not recommend the chips & salsa unless you’d like to visit your dentist for a chipped tooth. A shame though because of the gorgeous location, cute ambience, and friendly staff. Overall, very disappointed and will not be returning or...

We showed up on a Saturday evening around 6:30 with an hour and a half to get dinner. They told us it would be a 30 minute wait, and there were only 2 parties ahead of us. A 30 minute wait would leave us an hour to order and eat, which would have been plenty of time.
30 minutes later, we were told we'd be seated "really soon".
At 40 minutes, we were told we'd get a table "any minute now". We asked if we could go ahead and put our order in before getting a table, but they wouldn't allow us to do that.
At 46 minutes we finally got to sit down.
At this point we were starting to get tight on time, so we asked our waitress how long we should expect to wait if we ordered right away. She checked with the chef, who said it would be at least 30 minutes to make two of the pies listed on their menu (no changes or substitutions).
We gave up, at that point we didn't think we could trust them to make the pizza that quickly, and we'd be late for a commitment later that evening.
It would have been fine if they had told us up front it would be 50 minutes to get a table, we'd have gone elsewhere. Instead, they kept us on the hook for...
