Edit again: 2/2/25 my friend convinced me to go here again and we should go inside and make the order to ensure all goes well. She ordered her bowl, she didn't order queso on it but ordered queso on the side for her chips. I ordered a bowl, no queso. One guy made our food, another guy rang up the register. He billed us for 2 bowls and 2 queso. I pay, and didn't check the receipt, all seemed to go well. The guy prepping our food then asked my friend if she wanted the queso on the side, just to double check he understood her correctly. The guy at the register then said that he didn't bill me for the queso on the side, I paid for that. We get into the car and given my previous experiences, I checked the receipt. And what do I see, he billed me for 2 bowls (which we got) 2 queso and then the second time I paid for the 1 side of queso. They billed be me for 2 queso I didn't order. I go back inside, tell them there was a mistake. The guy who prepped the food said he put queso on our bowls. Now I was watching the guys every move to make sure he didn't mess up the food. I know for a fact he didn't put queso on either of our bowls. (I also want to point out, there was only 1 other customer there, so they were not busy at all). I leave, go to the car, bring my bowl in ready to show them that at this point the guy is flat out lying and there was no queso on the bowls. They did refund me the money they overcharged me for, after being lied to, and having to do this running around. Also the place was filthiest than ever. The glass protecting the food was so filthy and smudged with dried food, it was difficult to see. This was at 11am. How could the glass be that filthy???? Does no one clean up? So I looked up the latest health inspection. 4 violations. Here they are:
Item 8A- Food not protected during storage, preparation, display, transportation and service, from potential sources of contamination (e.g., food uncovered, mislabeled, stored on floor, missing or inadequate sneeze guards, food containers double stacked); Item 11C- Food contact surfaces not washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any time of operations when contamination may have occurred; Item 11D- Non food contact surfaces of equipment not clean; Item 15A- Floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces;
Clean your restaurant!
Edit: so it's 3/8/24 and I gave this place another try. And why did I even bother... they were doing mobile orders only and only had 1 guy working there. I left and went to core life. That place is right behind chipotle. Better food, choices and prices for what you get. And guess what! They have people working there! People that keep the place clean, make your orders correct, and keep food ready so when you order they don't give you the excuse they don't have any sour cream.... unlike chipotle...
So there's that. 1 star. I'd give 0 of I could.
Original review: I've ordered here 3 times through their app and once in person. The first time was in person and I was very happy with everything. The issue is with their mobile ordering. And the food is good and all. The main issue is that they have messed up all 3 mobile orders I've had so far. Leaving out 4 ingredients in 3 meals in one order. Rice, lettuce and meat gets bland very fast. Forgot the tomato and corn salsa, the sour cream and cheese. 🙃
Because I live 25 minutes away I just added the ingredients myself and won't order from the app anymore. Otherwise it would have been over an hour from the initial order till I got back there. And then who knows how long until I got it fixed and got back home.
The other 2 mobile orders they've either forgotten the chips, or swapped ingredients. 🫠

Read moreI hardly ever would take the time to leave a bad review, but the service here was so bad on two separate occasions over the last few weeks, that I couldn't let it slide.
5/26/24 approximately 8:30pm: With two and a half hours remaining in the business day (they close at 11pm) they were out of beans. There was one guy at the counter, and about five other people in the back screwing around being very loud. Presumably all of those men were preoccupied flirting with the only female employee, while the one guy that's up front was doing all of the work since it was clear that he was on the outside of that friend group. The guy that was making my order apologized for the lack of beans by stating that he was the only one that has performed any work in the past three hours, and that he's about to walk out. I asked him for clarification and he stated to me that all of his co-workers were lallygagging in the office. I promised this employee that I would be in touch with the companies leadership team and make sure it was brought to their attention. Anyway, I sit down to eat my tacos, and I find that there were several rock solid grains of rice. This happens when the rice container keep getting replenished while the old rice at the bottom is subject to the heat for way too long. The rice bin should be dumped when new rice is added. It was like I was eating my way through a minefield with all of the dried out rock hard grains of rice.
6/3/24 10:18 PM (time on my receipt) I walk in with a friend, didn't get acknowledged at all. There was an obvious new guy working the counter while receiving little help from his more seasoned co-workers that were again, screwing off in the back room. The dialog coming from the back room had me reminiscing of my days in the middle school cafeteria. Very loud and obnoxious. I tried making eye contact with the guy behind to counter just to make sure he knew I was ready to order and he just looked at me and didn't say anything. Very cold personality. They were out of a lot of things, presumably since the people prefer to spend their time goofing off instead of preparing food. The one girl working there was not very personable, until a friend of hers came through the door and she interrupted the customers and lit up like a Christmas tree showing her friend the kind of attention she should be showing the customers. Anyway, the guy behind the counter skipped over my friend and asked this other customer that was behind us (friend of the employee) what she wanted to order.
So in short, I don't plan on coming here anymore. Will this review bring about any meaningful change in this establishment? Most likely not. Chipotle has good food and has a large enough of a following among the college kids that even the poor customer service probably won't have a giant effect on their bottom line. This bad review will most likely be lost among many other bad reviews by next month.
Anyway, I'm going to call out the stores leadership by name so they have some pressure on them to deal with this problem however they see fit.

I can deal with the occasional mistake, maybe some missing guac or a drink, i'm an understanding fella like that. However, there is a point where it feels targeted. I picked up 3 items, 2 burritos and a veggie bowl. First of all, my burrito was fatter than it was tall, built like a damn double-wide trailer home. okay. my girlfriends burrito contained half a head of your "premium" lettuce, and was somehow soaking wet while still having been wrapped in a dry tortilla. okay. the kicker was my VEGETARIAN friends VEGGIE bowl, which was half empty and also had a nice serving of chicken on top. okay. cool. Thank you so much. AND when my friend went back to get her bowl fixed, she was given a burrito. like seriously, i think the chemicals being used to clean the grill tops are seeping into the employees brain synapses, and stunting their mental processing. I cant even lie, this location is consistently bad with pick up orders, so unless you're going to walk in at 11 am on a random weekday, prepare to have your feelings and your wallet hurt as you are handed the most underwhelming meal of your life. If you work at this location and read this, you're an opp and I hope your next pickup order at literally any other place is completely incorrect so you can feel a smidgen of what i felt this evening.
