Visited my cousin at Binghamton University and since this restaurant was right next to her dorm, we decided to give it a try. Luckily, we made reservations beforehand because the place was jam packed when we walked in. To start we all shared the avocado eggrolls and sweet fire chicken tenders. Both appetizers were good nothing special. I got the French onion soup and that was very very good. It was cold up there so soup was just what I needed. My boyfriend got a Cosmopolitan, a bit strong but he loved it. For our meals we got the Bang Bang Chicken Noodles, Ahi Tuna Bowl, Steakhouse Ribeye, Mac & Cheese, Chinese Chicken Salad, and the Chicken Milanese. The best was the Chinese chicken salad. Ever since I left NY I’ve been looking for a salad that resembles this and can’t find anything anywhere. The dressing and the ingredients they used in the salad were soo soo good. Second best was the Bang Bang noodles, it was slightly spicy but also creamy, the flavor was great. The Chicken Milanese was also thinly fried and the salad on top paired well. The steak was also cooked well, very tender. The only issue we had really was with the Ahi Tuna Bowls. It was a bit bland and needed some soy sauce/spicy mayo/eel sauce type thing on it. The atmosphere was very comforting, the décor and seating inside felt like I was having dinner inside my house with family. Our server Monica was very sweet and attentive, she brought us everything we needed when we asked. Loved our dinner, if we ever come back to visit this is definitely going to be the spot we come to for dinner. @neverstuffed

Exceptional Dining Experience. I recently had the pleasure of dining at CooperTop Tavern in Vestal, NY, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food at CooperTop Tavern was truly exceptional. I was impressed by the variety of options on the menu, and the dishes we ordered were expertly prepared and presented. Each bite was flavorful and satisfying, and I appreciated the generous portion sizes. The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Orders were taken promptly, and food was delivered quickly. The staff were all very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The tavern itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The decor was tasteful and added to the overall ambiance. I appreciated the attention to detail and the effort to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for patrons. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, service, and atmosphere in the Vestal area. Whether you're a local or just visiting, CooperTop Tavern is definitely worth checking out.

Sadly I have to give 2 stars for the food today. I ordered french onion soup and the avacado egg rolls. I was just there on Friday, and I got the avacado eggs rolls and the humus with the bread. Both delicious, while I was there. Sometimes there are certain foods, though, that you can't take home and refrigerate and eat the next day. Specifically speaking the avacado egg rolls. I took a couple home, however when I went to eat them, there was no reheating them, it's just not the type of food you can do that to. I placed my order today 01/15/2024, order # 212265, I would say around 12:10 or a little after. I was told my order would be ready around 12:38, but i got a message on my phone at 12:30 it was ready to pick up. I would have to say it only took me about 4 minutes to drive there, based on my work location. When I got back, probably another 4 minutes or so drive. The french onion soup was ok, nothing spectacular, but digestable. Aside from my father's homeade french onion soup, I never really found any other soup comparable, so it was ok, like I said. The Avacado egg rolls were extreeeeeemely disappointing. When I opend up the box, the egg rolls looked like they had already absorbed the moisture, as a crusty item would, being refrigerated, and there was no crisp to any of the wraps. The cilantro on top, was wilted, and the avacado was brown mostly throughout. The only thing that might have been fresh about them was the dipping sauce. What a shame that for the price I paid, that they were no doubt leftovers from yesterday. I tried to eat a couple thinking it was me, but it was not. As I sit here writing this review, I can't help but wonder for the little I did eat, will I get sick. Time will tell. IF I ever decide to order online again in the future, I will be sure to check my order before I leave. Maybe they bank on the fact you may not come back to complain, but there is always a google review.

I was in town for business and decided to try this restaurant from the online reviews I read and I was SO HAPPY that I did! Not only was the atmosphere pleasant, but the food was absolutely delicious and unique. My server, Kelly, was such a delight to talk to. She recommended dishes from the menu. The white chicken chili she recommended was so good I found myself trying to recreate the recipe from taste to make it at home! Being from Chicago, I had to try the Chicago Beef and although it differed from true Chicago style beef, it was similar with a unique flavor of marinated green olives on top of the sweet peppers and homemade bread really made it superbly tasty!!! The drinks were also good (it was Wednesday so Martinis were only $7 so I tried the Apple Cinnamon Pie one and the Key Lime Pie and I strongly recommend them) Kelly was professional, friendly and attentive. It made my experience dining alone even better. If you are in the area... You HAVE to stop in to see all the unique flavor combinations on their menu!

One of the best spots (imo) in the area! Had CopperTop a few times, both for takeout. Ordered once in person, and another time on the phone. Ordered the cuban roast pork dip, pepperoni pizza, and chicken caesar. Portions in general are quite generous so the value is definitely there. The cuban roast pork dip is a must order! Pepperoni pizza is average, and the chicken caesar is a good portion, but quality of the lettuce could be hit or miss. First time going in, Callie took my order at the bar. She was friendly and offered water while I waited. Second time around, ordered via phone, and the food took 2-3x longer than quoted. Staff had to keep checking to see the status of the order when they kept saying it was "almost ready". All in all, a great spot for sure! Would definitely be a hit for NFL Sundays or any other big game. They have a lot of TVs! Parking in the plaza is easy. Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!

It was my first time there yesterday, and may I say that Coppertop Tavern in person looked just as good as the pictures. The hostess was friendly. Our server, Jeff, definitely knew all his marks. The menu looked amazing too! It was so hard to pick what to eat, but we chose something eventually. My fried haddock sandwich was really good, maybe a little under-fried because not all the batter was cooked through, but that's an easy mistake to make anywhere. I loved the ambience of the place: dim lights, unique decorations, rich wood trim, and old-timey glass lighting. I definitely plan on going back and trying more. I'd be happy to take my parents or in-laws there whenever they come to town. Add this one to YOUR list. Like I said, it's as good as it looks.
