Super disappointed in this place. The food here is typically fairly creative and good in flavor. Over the last few months, I've ordered the 'Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich' (or something close to that name. Breaded chicken, jalapenos, honey sauce, etc) 5 different times. The taste of this sandwich is great, but 4 out of the 5 times that I ordered it, the piece of chicken on the sandwich is massive, and not in a good way. Literally 2 or more times the size of the bun, making it extremely difficult to eat. The majority of the times that I've ordered the sandwich I was on my way to work, for a meal at work, so trying to manage this thing while working is a huge pain. It would be nice to have some real fries too. These super thin fries just seem gimmicky and silly. I'd rather have a lesser amount of real fries than a ton of these little twigs. Anyway, I messaged the restaurant via their website about the sandwich and asked them to contact me back via email. Not that I wanted a refund or anything, but just to see what they were going to do to correct the sandwich and make sure they were being productive about managing their staff. Also, I can't imagine that it is good for their food costs to be using so much chicken. They literally could be getting 2 to 3 more sandwiches for each one that they are currently making. But, no one ever took the 3 minutes to responded to me. Pretty insulting. A few weeks later, I decided to give them a second (well, fifth) chance by ordering the sandwich again. I was not at all surprised to find that the chicken was more than twice the size of the bun and difficult to eat. Management must not be watching the cooks prepping the food. Big portions are great for certain things, but not a sandwich when the ratio of bun to protein is so out of whack. There are too many other placed to eat in the area to keep wasting my time fighting this sandwich. Sure, there are other things on the menu, but out of everything that I have had, I like the taste of this the best. Like I said, the flavor of this thing is great, but it's not worth the trouble and dealing with a management team that won't even respond is enough to make me say "Eh, I'll go somewhere else."...
Read moreSadly I have to give 2 stars for the food today. I ordered french onion soup and the avacado egg rolls. I was just there on Friday, and I got the avacado eggs rolls and the humus with the bread. Both delicious, while I was there. Sometimes there are certain foods, though, that you can't take home and refrigerate and eat the next day. Specifically speaking the avacado egg rolls. I took a couple home, however when I went to eat them, there was no reheating them, it's just not the type of food you can do that to. I placed my order today 01/15/2024, order # 212265, I would say around 12:10 or a little after. I was told my order would be ready around 12:38, but i got a message on my phone at 12:30 it was ready to pick up. I would have to say it only took me about 4 minutes to drive there, based on my work location. When I got back, probably another 4 minutes or so drive. The french onion soup was ok, nothing spectacular, but digestable. Aside from my father's homeade french onion soup, I never really found any other soup comparable, so it was ok, like I said. The Avacado egg rolls were extreeeeeemely disappointing. When I opend up the box, the egg rolls looked like they had already absorbed the moisture, as a crusty item would, being refrigerated, and there was no crisp to any of the wraps. The cilantro on top, was wilted, and the avacado was brown mostly throughout. The only thing that might have been fresh about them was the dipping sauce. What a shame that for the price I paid, that they were no doubt leftovers from yesterday. I tried to eat a couple thinking it was me, but it was not. As I sit here writing this review, I can't help but wonder for the little I did eat, will I get sick. Time will tell. IF I ever decide to order online again in the future, I will be sure to check my order before I leave. Maybe they bank on the fact you may not come back to complain, but there is always a...
Read moreVisited my cousin at Binghamton University and since this restaurant was right next to her dorm, we decided to give it a try. Luckily, we made reservations beforehand because the place was jam packed when we walked in. To start we all shared the avocado eggrolls and sweet fire chicken tenders. Both appetizers were good nothing special. I got the French onion soup and that was very very good. It was cold up there so soup was just what I needed. My boyfriend got a Cosmopolitan, a bit strong but he loved it.
For our meals we got the Bang Bang Chicken Noodles, Ahi Tuna Bowl, Steakhouse Ribeye, Mac & Cheese, Chinese Chicken Salad, and the Chicken Milanese. The best was the Chinese chicken salad. Ever since I left NY I’ve been looking for a salad that resembles this and can’t find anything anywhere. The dressing and the ingredients they used in the salad were soo soo good. Second best was the Bang Bang noodles, it was slightly spicy but also creamy, the flavor was great. The Chicken Milanese was also thinly fried and the salad on top paired well. The steak was also cooked well, very tender. The only issue we had really was with the Ahi Tuna Bowls. It was a bit bland and needed some soy sauce/spicy mayo/eel sauce type thing on it.
The atmosphere was very comforting, the décor and seating inside felt like I was having dinner inside my house with family. Our server Monica was very sweet and attentive, she brought us everything we needed when we asked. Loved our dinner, if we ever come back to visit this is definitely going to be the spot we come to for...
