Alfonso's — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

Ordering from here was probably by far the best thing I’ve done in a while.

Funny enough, just before my order here I made a call to Buffalo Wild Wings off Route 211 for pick up and had a young gentleman tell me they didn’t serve parm garlic fries, knowing very well I’ve ordered them from this specific location a few weeks ago in early September. Annoyed, because I really wanted some wings, I decided to go local and ordered a dozen wings and a margherita pie from Alfono’s. I couldn’t tell you the last time I was happy someone actually messed up my order.

I waited a little extra (about 40 minutes total from the time I placed my order till when I got the food) BUT by the time my boyfriend came back, both the wings AND whole pie were STILL warm when I started to eat. The blue cheese was awesome and creamy, not at all clumpy or dry which I can’t stand. The wings were nicely cooked and my pizza tasted so, so fresh. Called Alfonso’s again shortly after to let them know the meal was absolutely worth the wait. You won’t be...

I just picked up a takeout order from here. I thought it was a pretty simple order - a pizza and some hot Buffalo chicken wings - but apparently not. My wings don’t have any sauce on them. They’re just plain, unsauced wings. How can anyone make and serve Buffalo wings without any sauce on them. It never occurred to me to check the wings for sauce. I just assumed. And when you assume… you waste money on food you don’t like. The pizza was pretty good but I won’t be in any hurry to order from here again if they can’t get it right. And I don’t want to drive all the way back there after I’m home and ready to eat. I could call them and tell them what happened, but it doesn’t do me any good now. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THAT YOUR...

The pizza here used to be amazing ! ..... and it still is, when Alfonso the owner makes it. But obviously he cannot always be there himself....and whenever anybody else behind the counter makes the pizza, you never know what you're going to get. The last time I went in there, Alfonso wasn't there. Some other guy was making the pizza. He seemed unsure of himself, because he kept asking if the pizza was okay. I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I acted like it was...... But it wasn't. It SUCKED !!!! What a let down ! Alfonso is an amazing pizza maker, but the other employees are NOT !!! My advice: if you walk in and you don't see Alfonso making the pizza, turn around and get...
