Total buzzkill - came here to see one of my fave bands and all was great for the first hour. Bartenders were nice but when my boyfriend asked for a tonic and lime after he had a beer, the bartender asked “no alcohol”? He said no I’m driving. He requested a beer about 45 minutes later & then another tonic. She made a comment and perhaps she thought she was being funny - but with the music playing, it’s hard to hear and frankly I’m not looking to have a debate or a conversation but was taken back by her judgement so I asked for the check. She then came around and brought us beers (trying to right the wrong I suppose) but at this point we were annoyed so declined the beer and just wanted to pay the tab but she continued to try and converse. Meanwhile a very intoxicated woman and her guy friend came in and they served her! I said to the bartender you are hyper focused on us but yet you served a visibly impaired person and she said “well she’s not driving”. I respect and appreciate doing your job but the fact that we had a plan (2 beers max for him & his tonics) as he was the designated driver in place. I work hard all week and just wanted to relax and enjoy the music and unwind, but instead I’m compelled to write this review. At the end of the day, I will not patronize this establishment again and it’s a shame because I appreciate good music, service & tip...
Read moreVery disappointed with my order. Ordered the Colossal Pretzel and it was hard as a rock and the side of cheese was frozen. The description says “it’s a pretzel that King Kong couldn’t finish” which makes perfect sense, after the first bite, he wouldn’t take another. Ordered a hot dog with sauerkraut and got a plain hot dog. Hot dog was the smallest hot dog I’ve ever seen, it looked like a #2 pencil on hot dog bun. The seasoned potato flats were so soggy my 8 month old son without teeth could’ve eaten them. I’ve never had issues with them in the past and ordered from them regularly. This will be the last time I...
Read moreWe love mattinglys! My husband and I live just down the street and Tom, his wife and stepson Cooper (whom is the bartender) are extremely kind and welcoming. We come for wings Wednesday practically every week since May and have never been disappointed. Their bourbon wings are phenomenal and it’s truly a family-run establishment. They constantly have some type of entertainment or offer specials during the week. I think it’s a testament to the type of people they are that they offer deals especially with rising costs of food. I Would highly recommend going...
