My new go-to store for paint. First off DoItBest and Pratt and Lambert paints are excellent values and made by Sherwin Williams. Secondly, as a contractor, I don't like that the big box stores compete with me for customers on Facebook and Google, try to sell me back those bottom feeder customers where 5 others paid about a 10% fee to bid on referrals. So they get 50% of the cost out of contractors just trying to earn a living and make us fight for scraps. No I don't play that! I certainly will not buy paint or supplies from someone who plays that game! Roe Brothers is a local company, serving local customers both pro and d.i.y. without the games the big box corporations feel they must play in the name of profits! The money you spend there doesn't stay in the community. The money you spend at independent stores like Roe Brothers does, so do it for your community Lastly, if you go to Roe Brothers, you will meet the Paint Goddess (its on her business card, so it must be true) and all questions will be answered, she even answers the phone! She understands her work and provides great service. She could probably work at most any job and do well, she chose to work at Roe Brothers and we are lucky for that. Try to find the knowledge and service that everyone gets at Roe Brothers someplace else. Good luck. At the big box store 2-3 miles away, consider yourself lucky if anyone shows up at the paint desk. Will they know anything? That's a chance I will not take. I"m spending more and more of my money locally and Roe Brothers is the kind of place that I want to...
Read moreRoe Brothers lumber hardware & Kitchens is everything that a big box store offers and more. I was very impressed with all the departments tools, plumbing, electrical. Paint etc etc. While i was purchasing the treated lumber i went there for i over heard an employee telling another customer that Roe is family owned and that he had recent started working there and that the owners make him feel like he is part of the family. That was awesome to hear and i did noticed that the employees worked well together. They were very helpful to me as well as another couple who i believe were purchasing some kind of a custom front door. Without a doubt i will shop there again, i like talking to someone that knows about home improvements and the materials. i am a home owner not a contractor i need that kind of help when i do all the projects my wife has for me to do. Highly recommend Roe lumber and hats off to the customer service ! You just don't see or get that today in...
Read moreI heard this business was a go to place with great supplies and a friendly staff. I believe my fellow neighbor and will always support the local community and businesses. However, I would avoid an employee named Chuck. He totally disregarded a home project of mine I had planned which he said he would be able to assist with and reach out once finished. Nothing. I called him two weeks later after the agreement and he totally forgot about my business/plans and also stated he couldnât come through with a project like that anyways. He wasnât apologetic at all. I can tell he actually couldnât wait to get off the phone with me and not trying to right his wrong. Totally unprofessional with no concern for his customer. If you can avoid him I bet your experience would be better than mine. Absolutely not giving up on Roe, but some employees there need to work on their communication skills and remember the customer...
