Rookie's Restaurant and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Warwick

Nasty, rude, unkind little girl behind the counter. I order two little pepperoni sausage rolls smaller than my hand and was charged $4.50 each. I ask for my receipt normally as one would anywhere….She prints out my receipt, goes to give it to me then takes it back and looks panicked and asks for a minute. She walks in the back, comes back out and proceeds to ignore me. I nearly asked for a refund at this point just to be done with the situation. She THEN hands me a random receipt from someone else’s full dinner order. I have to ask her again for my receipt where she asks what I ordered and prints out a new one where I learn the price of the small palm sized rolls. What about the receipt she printed out and brought to the back? I served for years and would never do this to a customer, no matter how casual the setting is. People do not play with their money. Finally my food is ready and she doesn’t give me the sm cup of sauce I ordered on the side. She then ignores me again to service the dining room, talk to the bartender. When she finishes I normally ask for some sauce and she goes in the back, returns and rudely aggressively slides the cup of sauce across the counter towards me and turns away to speak to her female coworker. This is not how you treat customers. You need to remind employees this isn’t just a slice of pizza and a pepperoni roll, this is someone’s dinner and little girls have no right to give attitude when asked to do their job. I’ve been coming here a long time but I’m finished. I go where employees have a smile on their face and don’t act sketchy when asked...

Visited for take out pie on 3/8/19 after 4 PM after unsuccessfully trying to call order in for 20 minutes. I arrived home and discovered it was visibly burnt with spots of black crust and hard black bottom. My hungry little ones refused to wait for another pie so I had to trim off the edible bits to feed them & burnt remainder went straight to the trash. I was very surprised they would put this visibly screwed up mess in a box and happily let me walk out with it. As the burnt pizza pie was plainly visible to the naked eye, I can only assume this establishment really doesn't care about the quality of food it serves to customers. For a headache free food & restaurant experience l recommend others look for alternative choices nearby that consistently have better quality...

Very disappointed w this place & their food & ridiculously high prices. 1st off on-line their prices are very different than what they actually charged us. If I saw the actual cost I may have have ordered elsewhere. We ordered a large calzone w ham & onions. If there were 2 slices of ham in it I'd be surprised. If it was loaded I wouldn't care as much that each topping cost $3. We also ordered a small pizza w pepperoni. It was a personal size pizza for $9.99 plus $2 for pepperoni & it was far from good. Digiornio is much better! Crazy expensive for...
