Seriously completely shocked by all these great reviews. This place was absolutely disgusting and appalling.
I will start off by stating we were a family of 7 and extremely famished from the 24 hour drive from Florida. After my toddler had a tantrum outside of there establishment, we were able to finally come inside and we were seated outside under a Gazebo that had gnats, cobwebs and bees buzzing all around the area. It looked as if the area hadnt been clean in forever.
We were broughten bread and water by a waiter, we sat there for about 10 minutes over looking the menu, finally when we were ready to order we did not find our waitress anywhere to be found. As we were sitting there dying of hunger , my sister cut into this loaf of bread that was placed on our table to find a disgusting 3 INCH HAIR BAKED INTO THE MIDDLE OF IT. At this point we waited disgustingly for the waitress to let her know about the hairy bread, when she finally got there it had been over 35 minutes of a wait. She grabbed the bread no apology no NOTHING and took it to the kitchen. She finally came back and took our order with the only bad attitude. She even had the audacity when my sister was asking her about the menu, to tell her i have other tables I need to get drinks for.. like really??
So at this point we were waiting for our food. In total from the time we walked in the door until the time we had enough and walked out an hour and a half!!! Not 40 minutes ..not an hour ..90 minutes. Before we walked out we asked the waiter that was dripping sweat everywhere, who initially gave us the hairy bread and the waters how much longer, he said he would go ask, and literally walked off to other tables to take orders, he never even went back there to ask!
At this point we had enough of there horrible service. We all walked out as me and my sister went to the front to discuss this with the owner. As we explained the awful waitresses attitude and the hairy bread and the long wait, this lady started arguing with us!.. in front of other customers sitting and eating there. She argued that the waitress didnt have an attitude, NEVER apologized for the hair in the bread, in fact said THAT IT HAPPENS!! THAT HAPPENS?? DISGUSTING!! It's simple wear hairnets! she had the nerve to tell my sister to pay for all the food THAT WE NEVER EVEN GOT!! BECAUSE THEY WERE ALMOST DONE COOKING IT!!
These people were such disgusting individuals even with our bad experience they made my sister pay for the sodas we drank while waiting 90 minutes for our food. The owner didnt even hand her an itemized bill, she put 67$$ down on a waiters pad and made my sister pay $67 for SODAS and a appetizer!! NEVER WILL...
Read moreThis was one of the most horrible experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant establishment. First off, the appetizers we had were completely fine and there was nothing off about them at all they were actually quite good. However, when my boyfriends meal came out it, it was visible that the chicken was very undercooked. It was rubbery and pink, but that isn’t the worst part.. he went to take another bite and what does he find? A chunk of sharp plastic in his food and yes, when I say chunk I mean CHUNK.. He nearly cut his gum when he bit into it. We obviously rose a concern about this, and they took his meal off from the bill expectedly BUT proceeded to STILL hand us a bill for $70 after what we just experienced. I completely understand that it is a business and it’s to make money, and I have no doubt the staff works hard but there was absolutely no way as customers we were expected to pay for our full dinner. With all due respect, I brought this to the attention of the manager and explained how my boyfriend almost injured himself trying to eat his food and how I believed it would be the right thing for them to take accountability for this particular situation. To this, she responded sarcastically with “well would you like me to pay for the dentist bill too?” EXCUSE ME?! Why kind of a manager talks that way to their customers! Regardless of the situation, that was absolutely horrible and rude especially coming from someone who is supposed to respect and care for every customer who gives them business. We still planned on leaving a tip for our server, we knew this wasn’t his fault but because this entire ordeal happened she practically kicked us out and we did not know where our server was so we just decided to leave. I am writing this review to warn others before you decide to dine at this restaurant, it was an...
Read moreWe went to Silvios to celebrate some family birthdays. The parking lot was full which was a good sign, upon entering we were seated immediately even though our full party hasn't arrived yet which was a good thing. It seems they had a wedding in the large room which was no big deal. Once are whole party arrived we ordered drinks and food. For the men, we ordered beer. The waiter came back and stated sorry we are out of that beer. we ordered a different beer and came back and said he was sorry they were out of the beer we too. We finally get our meal and the servers brings out the food and everybody at the table had their food but me. I figured it would be out in a minute but after 5 minutes and no food I finally flagged done our waiter and I had to ask where is my food. He came back from the kitchen and states they lost my order and asked what I ordered again. Twenty five minutes after my family had their dinner served I finally got served. The waiter never came over to check if everything was ok. At that point I couldn't even taste my food since I was furious. When we finally get the check I had to ask are they giving us any discount. He had to ask would you like me ? Nobody in the restaurant came over to apologize for the lost order. And to make matters worse I was one of the birthdays we were cerebrating. To top it off everybody in my party was not thrilled with the food, we had a group of eight. This is a place I will...
