This place is a legit 100% Dominican restaurant. Reminds me of the small luncheonette places in DR. They actually had 12 different entree selections on warmers to view the day I was here! I don’t even see that many entree selections to view at restaurants in my home neighborhood of Washington Heights. I’ve been here about 6-7 times and I’ve tried the rabo, the pernil, the carne de res guisada, the Moro de guandules, and the habichuelas rojas. All are excellent. Don’t miss out for a taste of home if you’re Latinx, or swing by for a legit carribian...
Read moreWe were in town and stopped in on a Wednesday evenight. Food is stationed almost buffet style behind a glass and you choose what you want to be served. Owners are very generous with their portions and the food was delicious. The Lechon was delicious and chicharon was really soft and crunchy. Very good. For a midweek evening it seemed they had their A+ food out which is rare to find, but that just speaks about the quality. No matter the day of the week, tbe owners care about the quality of food they put out. Everything was freshly made. I wish i was a resident of this town Abecause this would be my go to spot. Check them out when your in town and tell them Rookie...
