Himalayan Kitchen Webster — Restaurant in Town of Webster

My wife and I went there on their first Sunday open. It took a bit for someone to come out and greet us. It was also quite a while before we got waters and our order taken. However, it has also been a long time since there has been a place with good Indian food in Webster. Hopefully they find their rhythm and can push some orders out faster because the food was outstanding. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were the best that I have had in the greater Rochester area. The veggie samosas were amazing too and came with a nice sweet dipping sauce. The naan was cooked perfectly and came out hot. We also ordered a mango lassi. It was very good and you can tell it was made with fresh fruit, but it did come out warm. We added a bit of ice to it and it was great, and not even watered down. Overall everything was delicious and the price was reasonable. I hope with a little training/practice they can smooth out the service time because I would love to come...

Ordered online at 5pm and got to the restaurant at 545 and they said food would be ready in 5-10 minutes. There were 3 people in the restaurant and 2 were already eating so I thought it was a bit odd as they weren't busy. There were 2 waiters and could see in the kitchen that there were at least 5 in the back. I waited for about 45 minutes in there and they just kept saying food coming soon. I was about to leave and ask for a refund when the food came out. At 630. The food was decent I got chicken biryani which was good (3stars) and garlic naan which was not good (1 star). Naan was burnt and had zero flavor almost no garlic. I'm not sure what took so long I guess a rocky start to this location but if that keeps up it won't be there...

Me and my boyfriend went on the first day they had opened. We were greeted immediately and promptly sat. The service was a bit slow but they were definitely still working out some kinks and getting in the flow of things. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS! The veggie samosas were amazing, hot and crispy with a little spice and the dipping sauce was fantastic. The onion bhaji were well seasoned and fried well, the butter chicken was some of the best I’ve had and my boyfriend got chicken malai tikka and it was so juicy and well seasoned.
