Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Town of Webster

11 Nov 2022 Okay I know it's Veteran's Day so I knew it would be busy, but seriously the wait was unbelievably long! When I was finally texted (my table is ready) as I was gathering up my stuff a young couple with a baby came in of course they know the hostess. Soooo, the hostess takes them right in to be seated! Really! So the hostess returns asking me what I needed. I told her that I was texted that my table was ready. The hostess says well I guess I'll have to seat you in the bar. Honestly that was a big mistake because they forgot about me there. #1. It took over 10 minutes for the server to ask me what I wanted to drink, then forgot to bring me my drink! Finally she brought my drink theft without asking me for my order #2. I told server I was ready to order but she took off without taking my order. That was not what I expected... #3. So.. the server comes back 15 minutes later to take my order, (no salt on the fries) but after waiting another 10 minutes I see this girl behind the bar and the people beside me have received both their drinks and food while I'm still waiting #4. The server comes back around so I ask her where's my burger? She says "Oh, your burger" then she goes behind the bar and starts tapping her computer screen. I'm beginning to think she needs to get retrained because it looks like she forgot to place my order with the grill in back. ( I went off to the bathroom asking the people at the next table to please let the server that I would be back. I come back to find my burger still hadn't come.) #5. When I finally get my burger I asked the server if I could have condiments which took another 10 minutes to come, by this time my burger is cold. OMG, Just great! #6. Now I ask the server if she could bring me more fries and a box that I wouldn't bother her again, but seriously isn't this her job? #7. Is it supposed to take almost TWO HOURS for a meal?

My husband and I came here one night for a quick date night. Since it was just the two of us we were seated quickly in the bar area even though it was busy and there was a typically 40 min wait. We got wings, which were good but didn't come with blue cheese which we found odd. I got a spiked lemonade which honestly tasted like slightly alcoholic water: not sweet, not sour, just boring with some dehydrated strawberries stuck in it for "decor." Our burgers came and mine, which I asked for with no pink, was hard and tasteless. Not exactly what I had in mind when I said no pink. The guac. bacon and tomato on the burger were also tasteless. My husband's burger, which he asked for with some pink, was slightly more flavorful because his had a sauce on it, but it was basically rare. I have seen my husband eat bloody steaks before, but for a burger, it's not what he expected and he wasn't pleased. Our waitress rarely came to our table and when she finally came to give us our check we wanted to just leave so badly we completely forgot to use the coupon we had. Was this the worst restaurant experience ever? No. Was part of it our own fault for being forgetful about our coupon? Yes. But it was honestly just a disappointing meal. To pay $45 for something so subpar was not what we had in mind for our date night. We honestly wish we just went to Chipotle: more food, fresher, better tasting food, cheaper,...

Used to go to this restaurant every 4-6 weeks but haven't been there in a while. We were in the area and decided to have dinner there tonight. Big mistake!! Started out ok but after ordering it went to hell. Food arrived, her fries were stone cold, which wouldn't have been a problem if we could have found someone to tell. Five minutes and half our dinner later we hit the button that said it would summon our server. Four or five minutes later our server stopped on her way by with a tray of food for another table and was informed that we had empty drink glasses and cold food. Three or four more minutes and she returned to tell us hot fries would be up in 34 seconds. Five more minutes and my wife asked how long 34 seconds were in red robin time. Finally hot fries and drinks and that was the last time we saw our server. Verrrryyyy dissapointing night. Don't think I can be talked into ever eating at red robin again. Changed the decor and forgot about the customers. My wife is a server at a local restaurant and could not believe what happened and how it was handled.
