We drove from Watertown around 10am after watching the posts on the FB page for months.. Upon arrival we were greeted and it was a tad busy so the selection looked low but still great none the less. Nothing was labeled , so when the girl with the glasses who was shown standing on a chair that day on FB asked what we wanted I stated a dozen donuts. She said okay what ones? I pointed at what I knew was an Apple fritter and said I would take two of those, not really knowing what was what, I asked her to let us know what they were , she snarkily said “all of them???” !! To be fair there was maybe 4 choices to even make up our dozen but she did state there were more in the back they just hadn’t gotten time to pull yet , didn’t offer for us to wait a few minutes just wanted to push us through the line. Totally understandable but at that point she should have offered to refill the case for more options, as there was only one lady in line behind us at that point. While waiting in line we heard a customer ahead of us order and buy a fruity pebbles donut but we heard the customer say they were “only in the back” said donut got brought out for that customer on a plate for them from the back. The girl reluctantly told me what was left which was one pistachio, cinnamon headlights and two fruit filled ones and a few glazed and apple fritters (which I’m glad I asked ) . I told her at that point what I wanted. I asked for two glazed towards the end but she had stopped listening when I asked her to let us know what kinds there were and I ended up with cinnamon headlights versus the glazed .Taylor made the coffee and brought it to our table and she was great, service with a smile. And just as we thought they brought out trays of donuts that we would have loved to try but weren’t given the opportunity too due to us being first time customers and not knowing about the “back stock” option? At that point I didn’t dare ask what was in the back? Definitely won’t be driving from...
Read moreI live and work in Watertown. I saw online where The Morning Ritual would be bringing some donuts to Europe Cakes on Friday to sell to their customers. I messaged them Thursday night and order an assortment to bring to work with me Friday morning. I wanted to try and get them early and the owner made area so I could pick them up early to have them to work by 8. The donuts look, smelled and tasted amazing. We only had 5 guys at work Friday but we managed to eat 14 donuts. Yummy. I brought the last 10 home to my family. I put them in a plastic bag to keep them fresh overnight. Saturday morning, my three teenage boys tore through them. My Wife slept in and missed out as they ate them all. Nothing but positive reviews from family and coworkers. If you are going to buy donuts from Price Chopper in Carthage, spend a few dollars more, support local, enjoy more flavors that aren't mass produced and enjoy some donuts made with heart and soul. I highly recommend not just for the donuts but for the...
Read moreAt this place the early birds truly get the worms. As someone has mentioned before, either get there early, call in or message them on fb to reserve donuts because they do run out rather quickly for good reason though! The donuts are light, fluffy, and delicious and just sweet enough. The coffee is ok but their lemonade is really good, great balance of sweet and tart. The inside has an eclectic charm with a lot of seating and a hip atmosphere. Overall, this Cafe is definitely one of...
