Me, three of my boys (Nick, Danzi + Ian) and my ex-girlfriend (Lauren) just stopped in on this local hotspot after 4 days in Yosemite. We had empty stomachs but full hearts and high expectations.
Once back in service, we started conducting some light research. After scanning the Tracy wiki page (home to MC Hammer, wow!) we began combing through other reviews. Their google page was full of glowing testimonials that seemed to good to be true, but also too enticing to not find out for ourselves.
From the moment we entered their chili handled front doors, I knew we were in for a night. There were some early murmurs of interest in the 3 for $10 combo deal but after some heated debate we settled on two sets of the 2 for $25 deal with double fajitas (an easy call once we realized we could double down on fajitas). Unfortunately for Ian, with an odd number of people he was left for dead and had to settle for the shrimp tacos by himself. By the time everybody finished their entrees, there was not an empty stomach or unsatisfied customer in sight. Right on queue, our server Rodrigo came to our table and asked us what we would like for our dessert option. We decided to all split a slice of cheesecake and a cookie skillet. The only blemish on an otherwise fabulous night was that the cookie came out a bit cold. Still delicious. We didnāt eat the whole thing - former athletes.
All in all, a great meal to end a great trip. Huge shoutout to Rodrigo, my friends and the chili man, Mr. Larry...

After getting settled down a gentleman came and asked how we we're, he gave us a few minutes and we started to order our drinks then told him we are ready to order as well.... We put our order in and this is when it gets really ugly. We waited for our drinks for about 20 minutes, we looked around and it wasn't even busy, so our drinks finally get to us we wait for about another 20 minutes and our food gets delivered, now the food was good, but my sister did not get here and they never even asked if we needed forks and knife... I had to ask for it... An hour and my sister did not get her food we wait for another 20 minutes, then we finally all eat. After that I told the waitre for the bill and a manager because of their lac for costumer service.. the manager arrives and I explain to him what happened he must have understood me because he was embarrassed for the place... He tells me to hold on and to see what he can do for the bad experience we had there ..... So because of the manager there I will be going back he did a great job keeping the costumer satisfied. To him I say...

When we go back that is where we will take them again. My Step sister usually takes them to Black Bear. I enjoy our Black Bear in Hayward. Haven't been to the one in Tracy. My Father complains. My Wife & I took them to Rubios & they are good. But, again we all found something we really liked! Next time I will hope that we aren't shopping after & I can order fajitas for Home for next day. It looked so good, but You do have to ask for more corn tortillas. My Step sister piled it on & ran out of tortillas. Oh 1 problem was close parking is all handicapped & I don't have a plaque & so it's a bit of a distance for them to walk with their walkers. We came through the pick up door. Never been before. My Father was quicker then my Step LOL. We then followed. See You soon..I...
