RESUNGA MOMO AND CURRY — Restaurant in Tracy

A hidden gem of flavor perfection!! I ordered Fried Chicken Momos and mango lassis and was blown away. Piping hot and fresh momos served with a few sauce/dips. The momos were fried to perfection, a little saucy on the inside, super flavorful and tender chicken. The lassis had the right consistency, sweetness and flavor. My only complaint is that I wish they had larger cup sizes for the lassis because I could easily drink a few. This food gave me feelings. I had to go back and compliment the chefs (a shy dad and his son it looked like). I didn’t know what to expect from this food truck tucked between a Costco parking lot and a Walmart and I’m sure glad I gave it a try. The food was OK. However, the customer service was the worst that I have ever seen. I was having a momos craving and discovered this food truck in Tracy. I was beyond happy. I placed my order online and went there for pickup. The food was already ready. I asked for a spoon or a fork and I gentleman decided to show me the order that I placed online was missing utensils. This is the first time I have ever seen a fast food place making a fuss when asked for a cutlery. I told the guy there that I can pay for the fork if it is that much a big issue and then he handed me one over. This was a bizarre experience for me. We ordered chicken fried momos and egg chowmein. The vibe is nice with all food trucks but it’s extremely windy and cold in the evenings. The food came 30mins after ordering which is why 5stars bec the wait time is ridiculous. The benches are also dirty as nobody cleans up after eating. We weren’t able to sit there so ate the food in the car. Delicious food, chowmein was exactly we get in India (thick noodles + veggies) but the service and wind ruined the experience!!
