Slabtown Cookie Co. — Restaurant in Traverse City

Wow not many reviews for this place. IT DESERVES MORE. This is a kind of hidden place since it's not at a restaurant but it's in a tiny shed that's so adorable. She makes cookies/Brownies of whatever she feels like it and posts what she'll put out on her Instagram that day.

LET ME TELL YOU, they're pretty great and I love the names she gives them. This one is the Stroopie, which is a blonde with Stroopwafels!! She puts the ingredients in the back as well, which is wonderful!

While in town for the month, I discovered that this place is on my walk to work. I am now a slave to the cookie shed. They are SO delicious and I would highly recommend! If you want more cookie selection, visiting earlier in the day is best, because the stand closes up once the cookies run out. I've tried a cookies & cream bar, caramel-stuffed chocolate cookie, peanut butter bar, and a brownie-batter filled chocolate truffle. Everything has been out...

This sweet little road-side cookie stand is simply amazing. What a neat concept and what completely unique flavors! We stopped by today and were surprised by the cottage stand being full to the brim with all the treats we wanted to try. Usually Slabtown is so popular, you have to get there early, but she made extra today! I'm currently savoring a Summer Solstice with a nice cup of tea and it is scrumptious! Can't wait to try all the other flavors...
