Dairy Lodge — Restaurant in Traverse City

Stopped in here while passing by for a treat. When we walked up, the napkin dispenser and all the napkins were laying all over the ground. I picked them up and handed them back to the staff at the window and she said thank you, I'll put them back. And continued to re organize all of the napkins that were laying on the ground to put back out for the customers . I told her again that they were laying on the ground and she said " I know, I'm putting them back" and she put them back out for everyone to use...... I ordered 1 malt and 2 flurries. There was at least 3 girls working. They made the malt right away and handed it to us and then continued to wait on the customers behind us. 3 customers behind us were served all of their things before I said " excuse me, we are still waiting on 2 flurries" one girl said "you are?" The other one said "I know, they're coming. " and looked at the other girl and said " just go make her flurries so she can leave " and then she handed me the rest of my order after the malt was already melted. I felt compelled to leave a review due to the multiple unsatisfactory products we got in one order, especially for the price they are charging. I would go there for soft serve all day. But, be careful with their sundae and blizzard concoctions as the expectation can be a bit off from an expected target. Turtle sundae was weak. Key lime blizzard had bits of teddy grahams. Unicone sundae had way too many sprinkles which started to overwhelm the soft serve. TC Cherry crunch had bits of GLPC Cherry BBQ chips on top. Unique, but meh. Best soft serve in Traverse City hands down. Especially when you have vegan or non-dairy people in your party. I consistently have to pass on Summer treats when we are out and about in the Traverse City area as vegan and or non-dairy options are not as prevalent as in most other places at this point.
