Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Trenton

My wife ordered pizza at 802 PM. We waited until 902 then called and asked where it was as it usually doesn't take that long. The guy on the phone says that they never got our order that he doesn't believe we called and talked to someone as he couldn't find my wife's name on caller I'd. He started rattling off names on the caller ID and he said my name and my wife said that's my husband my phone is under his name, he then said well I dont have that on my caller Id either...when somehow he pulled my name out of thin air but ok... We then checked the bank and they did charge us for the order so they charged us and then it was never entered? He said that they will make it again and comp it like he is doing us a favor by entering the food we actually ordered and giving it to us " for free " then he says it would be here 45 mins to an hour. We both have to get up early for work and getting our dinner past 10 isn't ideal , seems like they would put a rush on it but not at all. Well it is past 10 pm and no pizza so I call and then someone answers the phone and says Hungry Howies ,we are closed I then start to say I'm just checking on an order and they hang up on me. I then call back and the guy answers and I say I'm checking on a order and he says well we are closed but what's the name. Give him the info and he says well yeah that's one of the last orders of the day I'd say it should be there within 10 to 15 minutes.... Well pizza arrived 10 37 PM 2 hours and 35 mins after we originally ordered. 1 hour and 35 mins after they gave it to us for " free " Needless to say I wont be ordering from this...

It's been a bit since I ordered from here and apparently in that time they handed off delivery to DoorDash - if I had known that I would have never ordered delivery with all the issues I've had with them in this area. Despite not selecting no-contact delivery, the driver just left my order on the porch without any knock, ring, text, anything. By the time I started wondering where it was and manually looked it up from the surprise initial order placed text (the only contact received about the delivery) to find it had been silently delivered, of course it was ice cold. The regular drivers used to do a good job, will not order again with unaccountable...

I went into Hungry Howie's expecting to get a small pizza 🍕 with 2 toppings for what I saw an advertising for $5.99. I get into Hungry Howie's and the price was $6.99. It should have been changed on the advertisement in the hotel, I was staying at. Baymont Inn & Suites, Flat Rock, MI.

So I paid $6.99 for the small 2 topping pizza 🍕. Then I wanted a small cheese garlic bread but all there was was a large in the bread. So I bought that also and it wasn't what I wanted.

The employees were helpful and patient and the food was very good. I was just not happy about having to pay so much for the pizza and bread...
