Taco Bell — Restaurant in Trenton

On Friday, October 24th, a friend and I went in to eat inside the restaurant. Around 10am. Everything was fine.

Until a customer came in and asked an employee if she can use an outlet to charge her phone.

The employee said no, there were no outlets for customer use. The customer, who didn't buy anything, then got angry and physically attacked the employee. Then ran to her car to get mace to spray in the employee's eyes.

This is not the fault of the restaurant.

What is the fault of the restaurant is that the manager on duty immediately repremanded the employee for defending herself before even checking video.

The police were called, good, but it is not a good sign when a manager defends someone who is attacking their employee without full knowledge of what's happening.

She even had the nerve to speak to my friend and I as if we dont speak English properly. She spoke in the type of English that is spoke when you assume the person doesn't speak...

The food was good but the service was excellent. While they are renovating the inside, I was in the parking area ordering thru the app , two female staff member came to my car to see if I was ok. Now thats what you call customer service. I don't know the two ladies names, but they were on shift at approx. 2 - 3pm on Monday 5-10-21. One of them also, greeted the mailman in a very friendly matter and asked was he getting food today , he replied " No, I eat peanut butter and jelly today" while I was still in the parking lot, ordering thru the app, hopefully that will help with identifying them. Thank you again ladies, you are greatly appreciated because in these days and times we don't get that friendly service in a lot of fast food...

Trash Taco Bell in a trash area where they keep the bathrooms locked. Decent people don’t eat where they can’t wash their hands. Says all you need to know about the customers at this location.

The sad thing is, when this location opened right after the pandemic, it was super nice. It definitely stood out given its location. But now a few years later, it’s been beat down and Trentonized and is just as trash as other places.

Why spend your hard earned money in a restaurant that treats their customers with utter contempt? And it’s not like Taco Bell is wallet friendly any more.
