I’m going to reserve a fifth star for my next visit. I want to try a big breakfast there. Needless to say it’s a very cute little place hence the name the little café. I was very impressed with the staff and their friendliness and they’re willing to talk about the place. They gave me a bunch of free things to try one of them was swamp cabbage which I am embarrassed to say it I had never heard of this before. Apparently living in the Dunedin area is to Metropolitan for the likes of swamp cabbage. It was very good and I’m sure it was probably very good for my stomach because I have heard that the shoots from certain palmettos Our is good to eat as bamboo shoots. But they have medicinal benefits. I have heard that some palms produceWhat everybody knows of as milk of magnesia. Anyways to me it was just like a boil cabbage dish that was very tasty and a little chillier and nicer texture than regular boiled cabbage. I’m gonna change this whole review the next time I go for breakfast.

The atmosphere when you come through the doors of this little Cafe takes me back home, reminds me of being with family and friends. The food is delicious and is a true home cooked meal. The staff members are full of smiles and a true welcoming feeling. I would give this little Cafe a 10/10 across the board, and I will be back before we leave from doing disaster relief work. Thank you for the great service and great food.

Amazing little hidden gem in Trenton Florida! Went here the morning of my daughter’s Middle School volleyball tournament and are glad we did. It is not a big place as the name describes, however the staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was great! They make these massive homestyle biscuits that are very delicious. If you are in the area be sure to try this little restaurant!

🌟🌟| The Little Cafe – Trenton, FL 📍 203 NW 1st St, Trenton, FL 32693 🗓 Visited: 08/05/25 – around lunchtime ⏰ Open Mon–Sat, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM | Closed Sundays 🅿️ Parking available 💵 Breakfast & lunch prices: ~$8–$15 per person

My 18‑year‑old daughter and I made the drive from St. Augustine to Trenton for a little day trip and decided to check out The Little Cafe — and WOW, the food was AMAZING! 😍🍳🥪 Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into every dish. The inside (and outside) of the café is so cute and well-done — bright, welcoming, and full of charm. We sat at the back table by the glass wall and loved the view. 🌿✨

BUT... the service was a letdown. 😕 It’s a seat-yourself place, which is fine, but we only saw our waitress three times: 1️⃣ When she brought our drinks 2️⃣ When she took our order 3️⃣ When she delivered our food

That was it. No refills, no check, no follow-up — while other tables (mostly locals) were getting consistent attention. We watched others getting drink refills, to-go boxes, and their checks brought to them… while we sat waiting and eventually had to go find someone ourselves. It definitely gave off a "locals only" vibe, and sadly, we felt overlooked.

💔 It was especially disappointing because we really wanted to love this place — and we almost did. The food is 💯, the atmosphere is beautiful, but the service just didn’t match the quality of everything else.

Would I recommend it? ✅ Yes — for the food. Just be prepared that if you're not a regular, the experience might feel a bit cold. Hopefully, they work on that, because the place has...

We had an amazing breakfast at The Little Cafe in Trenton, Florida! The biscuits and gravy were homemade and absolutely delicious—comfort food at its best. The country fried steak was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the home fries and bacon were cooked just right. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. On top of the great food, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this cozy spot if you're...
